The existing temple's structure began construction in 54 B.C.E, the late Ptolemaic period, under the reign of Ptolemy Auletes. The hypostyle hall was built in the Roman period under Tiberius. In Egypt, Trajan was quite active in constructing buildings and decorating them.

Not Egyptian, Greek. Egypt was under the rule of the Greeks until 31 BC when the Romans finally conquered them. Everyone remembers Mark Anthony and Cleopatra, that was during this time.

How do u chart an accurate map of somewhere you have never been. ?? 2 answers either you went there or some travellers who had been there explained it to The egyptian scholars who were intellegent enough to understand.. Most likely the latter. Who can explain how they predicted the exact trajectory of all the eclipses from 4500 years ago. . To date and thru to the end of there cycles. Precisely.
