Just wondering how many have heard that, to date, archaeologists have been unable to locate evidence of Babylon's ancient gardens - no irrigation systems, no seeds, not even the platforms from which gardens would hang. I think the author must have been referring to Persia, which is famous for its gardens.

Babylon is very very ancient and old, just because archeologist didn't find something, doesn't mean it didn't happen. mesopotamia in general had an interest towards botany

During bronze age Period Mesopotamia was full of vegetations and grass unlike today

The music was evocative of a place so exotic and mysterious to us. It makes sense there was so little detail of the city itself since we do not know a great deal about it. I wish the Processional way and the Gate of Ishtar got more views because know much more about them. Why is it that elephants are left wandering about city and there are more of them than people?

This is inaccurate. During Nebuchadnezzar's time, Babylon present day Iraq was not a desert. Far from it. It was an extremely lush, vegetative zone.

Duh, Babylon was way before Rome. The Babylonians were ancient to the Romans as we view the Romans today.
