There are numerous etchings of people dressed like that dating back to the Assyrians. The Assyrians tended to add fringes and the like, but from what I've seen, the Babylonians stuck to the basics, at least for lower classes. Because embroidery and other embellishments are expensive. Thanks for the effort. I have seen 3D of Rome and how marble was used extensively in Roman architecture. I would imagine the Romans admired the Greek civilization in setting up their own civilization. Would it be possible that the Greeks admired the Medes and Persians, and the Medes and Persians admired the Babylonians? I bring this up because the structures in this 3D effort of portraying a Babylonian civilization's architecture seems a little on the rough side. I would imagine the structures would have had some form of either plaster or marble finishes to give an impression of wealth and power. Babylon from the description in scripture was the greatest world civilization with the following civilizations decreasing in greatness and splendor. Just a thought, not complaining! Again, thanks for the effort.

People should focus on the artistic, technical and above all the patience and quality of the author, yes there is anachronism in this presentation that I am certain the author is well aware of, but please keep in mind this is not a history session, but just artistic and techie work.
@sellig6610 жыл бұрын
Merci encore.

À Gilles. Great effects, music is proper, the buildings and altar look great. I like the general effect and I appreciate the amount of work on it. Yes, if you correct the people's clothes it will be better. Also there were guards at the corners of the temples. Not everybody had access. They were bringing offerings and animals to the altar. Women did not circulate around alone without their male family. Lots of jewelry, market-like noise, instruments, etc.Put groups of people more than single ones. I like it over all. Très bien fait, Gilles. Mes compliments.

How about those Saudi Arabians walking all over the place?

@@jokefar6686 Habibi Assyrians/Syrian and Chaldean are 1 big family. Why our history got twisted was because of that those living close to Greek used Greek those close to Iran used Persian. We are one with the same king and god but people (villages). Started to go after other countries.

@@jokefar6686 they are not mixed with arab or persian. And every Assyrian/Syrian or Chaldean have diffrent names because of which village they are from. Chaldean started to just follow the Arabic language and Catholic Churches to make us look bad (Assyrian/Syrian) But also to get help from the west. And if you say Babylon is there’s then why do they speak Arabic. if you didn’t know so is Persian and Assyrian language really nearly the same thing. Persian trust us more then Kurds or Arab.

EXELENT JOB MY FRIEND ;D
It is very beautiful and amazing work, but as an architect from Iraq and specialist in ancient buildings let say there are many mistakes in this work. First of all, the usage of stone did not appear in Babylon, plus they did not use columns, beams and statues. and people in Babylon did not wear like this type of fashion.
wow, very beautiful, i have not words. Greeting from Georgia

HERMOSO!!! NO SE ME OCURRE OTRA COSA, MUY BIEN LOGRADO,SIEMPRE PENSÉ QUE BABILONIA TENDRÍA QUE SE ASÍ, GRACIAS!!
Nice work, slot of detail. You must of spent hours putting this together. It's very good work only one problem though and I'm sure you know. Thank you!
@shelal84 Thank you for the compliment! I know very well that the Babylonians was not dressed in this way, but it is more a reason of 3D technical order. I apologize for it one thousand times, because I read it in many comments. I wanted before anything else to recreate fabulous city from Babylon... Thank you
People should focus on the artistic, technical and above all the patience and quality of the author, yes there is anachronism in this presentation that I am certain the author is well aware of, but please keep in mind this is not a history session, but just artistic and techie work. I give 2 thumbs up.

good technique, BIG mistakes, this is a civilization that actually existed you can't mess it up like this, for example, these modern gulf arabs were not in babylon at this time.

Amazing work
This is quite unstrutable. Sorry but I think the "freedom" is far too important. Althought you tried to respect some historical facts, there are too many "interpretations" and sometimes HUGE mistakes (ie clothes) I've seen a greek Pericles (2:10-2:20 ! Greece, Athens, 5th century BC // Babylon VIth century BC, Mesopotamia. Wake up !!!!

A lot of Achaemenid architecture from Susa and Persepolis. That is not contemporary with the Babylonian empire. And thus far there is no evidence of a Persian palace in Babylon from their rule

Dear Gilles , this is really amazing work as a clip , but there is a lot of historical/ fashions massive mistakes, I wish if you can notice more that the clothes in this video is more (Islamic/Arabic) not Babylonian .. plus the sculptures and the Architecture .. best of luck .. thanks for sharing .

What are the Saudi Arabians and the Greek sculptures are doing in there?
Merci encore.
Hermosísimo!!!
Merci Genesis.
Lovely
