1:45 - 2:20 is possibly my favorite moment in any song ever. I've never heard anything like it before or since. It's pure beauty and majesty.

i ADORE this song! The piano is framtic, chaotic and just awesome. The lyrics are a bit eluvise as to their meaning. The heavy stuff over the top create an equilibrium with the piano and they mesh perfectly. The voices are perfectly suited to this style and the notes are perfect. 11/10

its basically about the whole world collides between them to keep them apart..but they say this world no matter how huge it is, there is no space between us. its a sign of love that fights logical facts in magical ways :)

They've played this song in their concert in Villafranca di Verona... awesome atmosphere... ^^

I do like the heavier aspect of this song, while I love their modern stuff it's nice to hear them do some heavier/faster driven stuff still (one song per album would make me happy lol)

@khyronbradford I've been following these guys since late 90s. I liked all their works so far. You're right that they are in an evolution but the world is changing, they're getting oldlder, so their taste of music is changing. they're getting mature obviously. but I think their sound is still good. we wouldn't expect them to do the same music that they've done a decade ago. just enjoy it as it is

@khyronbradford that goes back to what i said. the "soul" of alt 4 was due to who the band was when they made that album; the artists have changed/grown/whatever now, thus their newer stuff sounds way different. if you dont like it thats fine (i myself prefer alt 4 also, but i do like this too) but its pointless to say "PLEASE ANATHEMA DO ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE 4!!!!" because thats simply not going to happen. they moved on from that time in their life, apparently.

@khyronbradford why would a (artistic) band purposely copy a previous album? that defeats the purpose of growth. the dudes in anathema have changed since alt 4 and therefore wont make the same album, as they are now different people (through personal growth and actual lineup changes) if you want stuff that sounds like alt 4, go listen to alt 4. thats why they recorded it. and this song sounds nothing like alt 4. far too fast.

Bleh... after all these years I of being their huge fan, I touched this album once and than never came back to it ....bleh (and I am not making any comparison to their old stuff )

@coheed987 I´ve listening to Anathema since 1995, and I loved all the evolutions of their music untill "A Fine Day To Exit"...and all they albums share a piece of darkness that way very unique. But this new shit is like...I don´t know...like a "shiny" album, and I don´t like it. The splender of Alt. 4 was not in the way of composing or the sound...it was about the whole album and soul itself...soul that Anathema´s trademark untill Judgement or A.F.D.T.E.

After hearing their new album, I can really say that this is the best song...and you know why??? BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE ALTERNATIVE 4 !!! The rest of the album is really boring. PLEASE ANATHEMA...DO ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE 4!!!!

This band is far away from their best moment which was alternative 4.
