What's amazing is that she's just having fun. She's not a child forced into music by parents that want that future for her, she's just having a good time and hamming it up. Look at her facial expressions and how she grins from time to time. She's having the time of her life.

Anastasia has her own KZread channel. She has one video where she plays along with a Russian jazz ensemble. On that particular video, English subtitles scrolled across the screen. Allegedly, she went to a concert at age two where she decided that she wanted to play the balalaika. From there she was trained by the very same balalaika master that she had saw performing. Then at age 4 she attended a music school, which she called fantastic. Beyond that, it is very hard to get any information as every one is speaking Russian with no English translations. But basically Anastasia is a child prodigy that plays just the balalaika. Of course, Russia considers her a national treasure that is best known by her very interesting facial expressions. Currently, she is 9 years old.

She's a genius. She performs a piece called "Cinderella" that is astonishing.

Anastasia is peculiar

Unusual (for me) instrument but enjoyable. Three strings? Is this instrument common in symphony orchestras? I know it is a traditional instrument in Russia but in USA you don't usually find traditional banjos in symphony. Bach just didn't write music for them.

Bach did not write, but others did. Balalaika in Russia does not exist in a single copy, there is a whole set of different balalaika for orchestra, different size, tone and, accordingly, different roles. In General, in Russia, quite a lot of old instruments are still in use, used both in professional music (usually in orchestras), and in personal use by self-taught and just enthusiasts.

Доброго дня... Архиповский Анастасию не обучал... Она является ученицей музыкальной школы N 2 города Тамбов.. Не нужно писать о том, чего не знаете, тем самым распространять ложные сведения миру...))
