I was wondering how she would present a live version of this song and I have to say it shattered my expectations. She is a fascinating artist.

Aurora is quite the comedian sometimes; that ending had me laughing.

Aurora singing "My god, it's a lot" lives rent-free in my head from when I wake up every morning, turn on the coffee maker, and stumble into the shower before putting the news on the radio with the fresh coffee. Since we are on the topic of Aurora, she is featured on a little song called "liMOusIne" by a "little" band called "Bring Me The Horizon" who just released new music after almost half a decade of silence. It is easy to forget that Aurora is from Norway and thus loves music going HEAVY by default. Is "Bring Me The Horizon" emotional? Yes. Is the entire album (𝙋𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙃𝙐𝙈𝘼𝙉: 𝙉𝙚𝙓 𝙂𝙀𝙣:) good? Yes. Is it contrasting this stripped version of "Some Type of Skin"? Not really. The rawness is similar.

I believe she can do anything at this point. Only kind of knew this band by name, but I liked the song she was on a lot! Not a genre I'm well versed in, but as many mentioned, it reminded me of Deftones, which is fine by me! I should probably listen better to the rest of the album 😊.

Very nice! The one I've "struggled" the most with of her new songs, as I was not too crazy of the official version. I should learn to keep my mouth shut and just wait patiently though, as her songs tend to grow on me, and especially when she starts releasing live versions 😅. Absolutely love this one!
