Most versatile lyricist of Bollywood. But he couldn't get the respect he deserved. Even today People who have seen golden era of Indian cinema hear Anand Bakshi with great relish. He was not much educated but still he excelled all lyricists of Bollywood.

Anand Bakshi is a master of his own and his lyrics ...his struggle and his hard work is so inspiring for me ..he is so simple and down to earth person and God also helps such person in his journey ..

So simple man with high thinking, simple words but touch in the deep of our heart. True legend of bollywood movie song. I'm quite sure "Chitthi aye hai" Song he must inspired by his ARMY career because only a soldier can feels such emotion. Pranam Bakshi saab wherever you are.

हिंदुस्थान मे एक रेडीयो चँनल बजता है, जिसका नाम है, " " विविध भारती " " रेडियो स्टेशन मे अपना खुद का नाम आना चाहिए, इसलिए बक्षी साहब ने गीत लिखने शुरु किये, और वह इस मुकाम तक पहुँचने मे कामयाब हो गये, जब रेडियो अनाउंसर ने उनका नाम फरमाईश के तौर पर पुकारा, तब बक्षी साहब को यकीन हुआ की, अब मै हिंदुस्तान का एक गीतकार आनंद बक्षी बन चुका हु, तब उनके कलेजे मे ठंडक पहुची, और फिर उसके बाद यह सिलसिला शुरू हुआ, जो आजतक तो क्या हजारो सालो तक खत्म नही होगा ! रेडियो अनाउंसर इस तरह उनका नाम पुकारने लगे = ! = अगला गीत सुनिये आराधना फिल्म से, नगमा निगार है आनंद बक्षी और इसकी तजँ बनाई है एस डी बमँन ने आवाज है किशोर कुमार की "" मेरे सपनो की रानी, कब आयेगी तु = ! = अगला गीत है फिल्म दो रास्ते से, गीतकार है आनंद बक्षी जिसे संगीत मे ढाला है लक्ष्मीकांत प्यारेलाल ने आवाजे दी है मोहम्मद रफी और लता मंगेशकर ने, अच्छा तो हम चलते है, फिर कब मिलोगे ?
