I wonder why he introduced the man who took him into his house for six long years as "EK Shakhs" and "BECHARA TC" instead of naming him? Could someone throw some light on this?

Good question posed by you. A sincere query. AB did not mention his name, Because he, Mr Chitramal Swaroop, the western railway TC, had told my dad, Anand Bakshi आनंद बक्शी 🖌, not to thank him in public interviews as he is shy of the attention. After he had mentioned his name in a print interview. Mr Swaroop said helping AB is something he did as he was a lover of songs and poetry and he liked the stranger and wanted to something for him. He took him in just for a few days but their acquaintanceship turned to familiarity and soon a friendship and he asked my dad to stay back as he was lonely in Bambai his family was in Agra so he would like his companionship at home. Eventually their friendship became a life long relationship and he is the only person my dad addressed as Ustaad. He reserved this honor of an Ustaad only for Chiitramal ji life long. You will never come across anyone anywhere AB referring to anyother person as his Ustaad, and reserved the term Guru only for D N Madhok. Rakesh Ji, what a friendship you must have seen blossoming! Is there any song in your knowledge that he may have written with their friendship in his mind?

@@umeshvyas6960 Diye jalte hain, phool khile hain… Chittmal ji was such a humble unassuming man of self pride that we would have to force him to stay back for a meal when he be over to see us he usually came around 4 and would leave by 5 before rush hour began on Bombay local trains. He always brought agra ka petha everytime he came over. When I got my driving licence i would drop him to bandra station as i didnt want him standing at BEST bus stop and he would refuse when my dad would tell our driver to drop him to the station. He had such immense self respect never asked for favors for his children or relatives. On every annual summer family holiday we would take him with us and that he would like as he was family guy totally and chatted more with us and my mom than with my dad.
