Vijay has done a great job to write a book on Anand Bakshi sahib ,which definitely given a piece to the heart of those who are feeling alone to themselves after the sorrow departure of Anand Bakshi from the earth . In fact this is a great honor to a real poet who was the Pitahmaha of lyric . I specially pay my personal thanks to Vijay, since I heartily understand well to Bakshi sahib

Dear Sir, Anandji was a TRUE LEGEND as a lyricist....🙏

As my name is also Rakesh & I m of same age as Rakesh bakshi, I feel that as my "father" only has gone from the world..as realizing his works now.. In late 70's when i used to hear radio, i used to thought that radio people are deliberately airing songs of him only as 80-90% songs, the anchor used to say..geetkar anand bakshi.., but later on i came to know his no. of works & hits..., wud be great if a place wud be there in mumbai (maybe a room/premise in his house only) , where all his works/his belongings/photos, etc shud be kept as a museum for future generations to know......, the song chal chal mere saathi...from haathi mere saathi's 3rd antra has line - tu pagla na badla, saari duniya gayi hai badal.., when i watched national geographic programme on elephants, i came to know that it is the only animal which has not changed since thousands of years in evolution.., then i came to know y bakshiji wrote those lines.., he must have been read/researched about elephants in detail before writing on it....Great man...we will always miss him...

@@RAKBAKX I possess this book sir, I mean to setup a museum..., cos I m right now dissecting his lyrics as per se situations in films., as eg-3rd antra (as he was always have something extra in the 3rd or last antra to create impact/blow) of aap ki kasam title duet - ruth jaayein hum to tum humko manaa lena sanam (inspite of saying this, heroine ruth jaati hai later), door ho to paas humko tum bula lena sanam (still hero comes to her plc later after separation), kuch gila ho to gale humko lagaa lena sanam (common remedy to forgive)...a hint of the coming separation happen between them in 2nd half of movie.., but here they r in honeymoon,..so these & many such his songs hints abt the later story in the song itself....

also, in 1977-78, when i was 6-7 yrs old, my mother used to made me drink milk(which i used to hate that time) by saying..lalla lalla lori dudh ki katori., that time & for many years i thought that this was some sort of my mom's way of saying rhymically in a poetic way to me to made me drink the milk.., when after some years, i saw that mukti film on dd with that song...., so my mom has uncopyrighted used his words to made me drink milk..., thanx anand bakshiji for my all the glasses of milk in that growing years....

Rakesh Anand bakshi or Vijay akela Ji aaj tak me sochta Tha ki bakshi saahab ne sirf mujhe hi Lori suna Kar or jumma chumma Dede suna Kar bada Kiya Hai. me bhi unke bare me ghanto bol sakta Hun. aapke papa Kamal ki soch rakhne wale insaan Hain (hummare dillo me or soch me hamesha Hain )
