I was at a bar in Pacific Beach/SD, watching Game 3...and even in a bar chock full of screamers and drunks and a ton of distractions...I saw right off the bat, Buck S, rubbing those baseballs. And I knew right then...something was up. There are people saying he was kinda responding to Padre hitters calling time, a lot, on Bassitt. But thats not true...Buck was checking baseballs in the first freaking inning, BEFORE anybody had a notion to think Joe might've been cheating. And I dont think it was him or anyone in the dugout "clocking" Joe. It was probably some computer geek upstairs, so to speak, with the GM and the owner, looking over his shoulder. Well, it backfired.
