I notice as I've tweaked my swing, I've started to do the left around / shoulder thing in my 3rd step like he does. I just don't get quite as low. Kind of hybrid between Simo and Belmo atm. I need to try the whole knee bent more and skip into it and see what happens with speed. I got some solid consistent speed now with the left arm thing I've been doing But can't hurt to get even more.

Great analysis just one question I was watching a video from 2022 of belmo vs simonson and it seemed like his legs and back were pretty straight from a side view before starting his approach in that match do you think he made a change for some reasonit was the 2022 shark championship

I would have to look it up. Every time I've watched simo bowl, he's had the same approach. The only difference I've seen is that hid approach had gotten less explosive as he as gotten older.

@@BigSkyBowler let me know what you think if you look it up later it's just belmo vs simonson in the first round a 18 minute video of the 2022 shark tournament I decided to try to start with my back bent and knees bent naturally a little like packy and simo on your analyzing videos the other night since I have been having problems getting enough spine tilt I had a little more ball speed and good scores the last 2 games but was a little sore from it will have to see how it goes tonight thanks again for all your youtube stuff

I just had my first practice session with 2 hands. I’ve been bowling 1 handed my whole life. I suffer from the high revs and no speed as a two handed so far.

Sucks a little too because I’m a big guy. Got a gut in the way of getting my support hand back with my swing.

Why are you analyzing an old video of him bowling. He definitely fixed his form a ton from his first ever appearance.

I look for video that gives the best camera angles of his approach. With that stated, he base game hasn't changed drastically since his debut.
