I won't say 9wins but they'd definitely have more. It's Dan Campbell 2 almost. And I was one that slept on Campbell. That and Raiders messed up at least once in not keeping a coach where the team was clearly playing better.

I was born in the 80’s and have been a Raider fan since early 90’s. I don’t remember the Raiders defense ever being this good! Bring this man back as our head coach! If we had Derek Carr we probably would be and 11-5.

AP has the team playing from the old Raiders

Lifelong Raiders fan. I cannot remember the last time our fanbase was so unified. AP deserves the job. The players listen to him & trust him. And we all saw what that trust means on Christmas at Arrowhead

We didn't make a mistake with Rich B he just took an already good team n rode it to the playoffs, we made the wrong choice after with McDaniels With AP he took a terrible team left for dead n turned it around, he won in arrowhead on Christmas for fucks sake whereas Rich B looked in way over his head against the Chiefs this situation is similar but different Let AP & Champ bring in their OC & QB & make tweaks to the roster let's see how it goes he's earned it

Hardagree hasn't been great, but he's a 1st time OC taking over a dumpster fire mid-season. A lot of his concepts have looked great since he's taken over. He just needs a QB that can execute them.

A new OC and a QB and this team can be dominant if they make Pierce HC

You look for consistent improved play, effort (especially), execution,...AP seems to have done just that. And if you see that, you bring in similar type players. If theres justification to give him the job its the Raiders are allowing an NFL-best 15.3 ppg since Week 9 when they promoted him. I want this defensive staff intact with a full off-season to build upon.

Gotta stop with the Rich Bisaccia comparisons. Apples to oranges. Rich was a bandaid, Antonio is a cure. I like Rich I think he's all class but a HC? Probably not. Pierce has been a coach on the field at the highest level in the biggest games in NFL history. He has a short but meaningful resume and his trajectory is through the roof.

I don't trust Davis will make the right decision. He has a history of making the wrong choices. I would see what Pierce's long term vision would be in terms of coaching and personnel. They could use a better QB and a better play caller for sure, but the locker room seems to have bought into his mind set. Instead of "Just win baby" it should be "Just figure it out baby" as Pierce stated.

I'm calling Frank Reich to be the OC /assiant head coach AP the head coach Graham the DC trade for fields, Murray or jake browning ,or give aoc a full off season to get better

@Rozay171 he's been fired twice in less than 12 months so he might have to be a coordinator again the great Lovie Smith was a head coach went to the Super Bowl went 10-6 in Chicago and wrongfully got fired and went back as a coordinator before getting a job same with Jim Caldwell when he was the defensive coordinator for Baltimore after leading the Colts to the Super Bowl

Agree that they should have kept Rich Bisaccia as the players played both hard and well for him with fewer mistakes. Felt the same way about Jack Del Rio and the same way now about Antonio Pierce as to the Raiders should have kept Del Rio and should keep Pierce. BUT THE RAIDERS WANTED SEXY HIRES with first Gruden and then with McDaniels. Both the Gruden Regime (incl Mayock) and the McDaniels' Regime (including Ziegler) made disastrous player-free-agency/player-drafting decisions. Should have kept Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper as examples. With Cooper retained wouldn't have had to get Adams and give up draft capital. The draft picks with their bad decisions exchanged for Mack were so bad the players aren't even in the NFL anymore let alone with the team. Yes, 20-20 hindsight is perfect and I'm no exception but, living here in Las Vegas and following the Raiders (not really a fan), just thought at the time these were all bad decisons. Antonio Pierce deserves a shot at permanent head coach rather than some coaching re-tread!! However, the problem of previous wasted draft capital will continue to haunt the Raiders.

I agree with you on the failure to draft well. But, the cap always has teams make choices. At some point, the Raiders would have had to make a decision to keep Carr or Mack. All franchises will go with the quarterback, so that trade had to be made, and in return got multiple picks for Mack and Cooper. The only issue out of amm five of those first round picks, Josh Jacobs was the only non bust. Ferrell, Abrahm, Ruggs (unfortunate situation, but Raiders passed on Cedee Lamb), Arnette (DB from Ohio State), Leatherwood, etc. did not produce. With that much draft capital, we should have at least won the division once and making the playoffs consistently.

Raiders did not make the playoff; therefore, he does not deserve to be promoted. Bring in Hardbaugh and a new quarterback.

You can’t compare the raiders to other teams in that aspect though. We hired the first black and Latino head coaches in the nfl with art shell and tom Flores. Also the first woman nfl ceo with any trask. We’re the only team right now that has a black woman for president, black Gm and coach. Two are intern but still. Raiders have always lead the way.

Dude had a whole week to prepare for the Vikings and had 0 points he also had 6 points on offense against the Chiefs and dont bring up that Chargers game every one knows the Chargers threw that game .Dont say he is a defensive coach thats why the defense is playing well he hasn't motivated the offense which continues to struggle against any team with a good defense he doesn't call plays or even designs any plays he is just a talking head and anybody can do that job.

I guess when the have a HC that wins the Raiders fire them and hire someone else looking for a loser. By the records it sure looks that way. To keep your job for more than a year you need to lose.

I would agree. Because of the 63 point game, the Raider offense is quietly sucking bad. The turnovers from the defense have been insane, but turnovers never last, that offense needs fixing, and AP being a fan favorite can't fix the offense. The offense against the chiefs was just pathetic. Harbaugh could fix it.

Give AP and Champ an offseason to get a few guys, a QB, and new plays...and then judge him on offense. He is only working with what he was given, defense happened to have better players this year and he brought in Jack Jones who has been incredible.
