Analysts: Inauguration of Ram temple not as big an election boost as India's ruling BJP hoped
The city of Ayodhya where the controversial Ram temple is located, goes to polls on May 20. The inauguration of the Hindu temple by Prime Minister Narendra Modi this year, in time for the elections, was seen as his trump card to secure a record third term win. But as the election progresses, analysts say it may not be as big of a draw for Indian voters, as the governing Bharatiya Janata Party had hoped. Priyata Brajabasi reports.

Ruling BJP never hoped that Ram Mandir is going to give them a boost. Even the PM repeatedly said Ram Mandir is not an election issue. It is a campaign promise and they delivered it. These so called "analysts" are either ignorant or just doing their job to help build some bogus narrative as usual on many India topics that foreign media do. The Ram Mandir is only an issue for BJP's 20% core voter base but they were anyway voting for the BJP. I recommend those interested in these videos to start reading comments to get a better picture than propaganda videos like these.
