I'd understand if they were building a hospital there which would actually serve a purpose. Tearing down a masjid for a temple in a country with literally thousands of temples is just beyond idiotic. @@Samuel-fn2hl asking votes in the name of religion is bad. one should ask votes by showing how they improved education,health jobs etc. I am happy that they removed 370 , built Ram Mandir but still unemployement is big issue, riots everywhere, discrimination on development(only happening in north and not south/east but most money/gst comes from south states, education is very less in northern part , no talks on Manipur by govt. etc etc. I can go on and on .

To begin with, Veer Savarkar's Hindutva ideology is not based on religion. It has been misinterpreted by the BJP and all political parties in India. If anyone bothers to read about Savarkar and not rely upon vague comments and baseless criticism about him, they will understand him better. Secondly, yes, I believe that the current Government should have been more secular. BJP is a very conservative party and that has to change in a secular nation. Thirdly, yes, it is true that foreign Muslim conquerors didn't do much good in India, but that does not mean that we blame all Muslims for this. Also, just because something was made by a Mughal or any Muslim in India doesn't mean that we try to demolish it (example: Taj Mahal).
