Yes to charter change because the 60% Filipino equity ownership requirement for corporations who want to invest in extractive industries, public utilities, retail, tourism, practice of professions, education, mass media, and advertising is the reason why these following industries are dominated by local oligarchs who rely on foreign equity ownership restrictions to charge exorbitant prices to their customers and pay low salaries and benefits to their employees, so there is nothing wrong with allowing 100% foreign equity ownership if the exchange is more employment opportunities for Filipinos that working abroad will become a matter of choice, not necessity.

@@reboltv4246 Kaya nga business owned hindi naman lupa magrerent sila ng lupa dito. Ayaw mo lang magtrabaho mga manggagawa ng batas ayan tuloy tamad common sense lang yun.

With a Criminology graduate showbiz personality heading the relevant Senate committee, one cannot help but be at a quandary on what can possibly be accomplished by this current initiative. The Committee was previously chaired by no less than the learned Constitutionalist Miriam Defensor-Santiago. She must be turning in her grave now.

Well you can blame the Current Constitution on that one, it also allows for a Boxer-Celebrity to become a Senator and even run for Presidency. If they have plans to revise the political one, then it would be better if we go for someone who at least graduated a bachelor's degree for a local post like Mayor or Councilor, and at least a master's degree or have equivalent amount of working experience to be at least on the legislative. If they even manage to give CPD points to maintain the PRC Licenses. Then it should be the same thing for government officials.

Marcos Jr’s Cha-cha will only equate to the wanton plunder of our remaining land and natural resources. Instead of devoting our land and resources to the genuine development of domestic agriculture, economy, and industries, ChaCha will allow more foreign-owned extractive industries, logging, ecotourism, real estate projects, expansion of agro-corporation plantations, and other business operations intended for profit-making. Furthermore, 100 percent foreign ownership of land may also further drive the displacement and ejection of farmers and indigenous people. Land agents will rush into land grabbing, coercive land purchases, land banking, and land selling. This implies a broader displacement of farmers and indigenous people, imposition of higher land rents, further losses for farmers, cessation of farming activities, land conversion, and the dissolution of agricultural livelihoods. the proposed Charter Change will end jeopardizing food security and livelihood for Filipinos, leading to widespread hunger, loss of livelihoods, and increased poverty

Sisihin mo yung Constitution, sila nag papayag sa mga ganyan pumasok sa pulitika eh. Dapat nga at least tapos ka ng Bachelor's Degree para magging Brgy. Chairman, Konsehal o Mayor, tapos dapat may master's ka or katumbas na working experience bilang konsehal o Mayor para makapasok bilang mambabatas. Yung pag paprenew nga ng PRC License kelangan na ng CPD points sa atin tapos mga taga gobyerno natin wala? Tayo nga pag naghahanap ng trabaho hinahanapan ng experience tapos sa Constitution natin kahit walang experience at hindi tapos pwede makakuha ng position mula Konsehal hanggang Mayor? Dapat nga mula Barangay officials tapos ng pagaaral din eh para ma manage ng maayos ang bawat baranggay. Hindi yung porket may kapit lang o may pera. Sa case ni Sen. Robin, since graduate sya ng Criminology, dapat nag konsehal, Vice Mayor o Mayor muna sya for at least 6 years tapos tumakbo sya as Vice Governor, Governor or Congressman. Sa kaso ni Pacquiao at ni Bong eh dapat nagtapos muna sila ng pag aaral.
