One of the things that contributes to whether I follow someone is the voice. If I don't find the voice pleasant to listen to, the content has to be really good to compensate for that. But your voice is sooo incredibly pleasant and relaxing to listen to, you should do something with that.

Hey bro the skill is most definitely there after seeing your vids and thumbnails, honestly I think the only thing holding you back is that the content you make is in a very competitive niche with much bigger youtubers making the same types of vids, if you can take what you usually make but add an original twist that isnt found anywhere else online than you will succeed.

I went to a pro tennis match once.....the match was delayed hours do to rain.....so waiting and waiting and waiting was all I got out of the experience. I don't even know who was playing ( There were two of them....that I remember )..... Maybe , for some, it will rain a long time on their KZread channel before the sun arrives.

This is why I love content creation. We would have never met if it wasn't for our shared passion on making content. I'm so happy and grateful for out new found friendship and humbled to have contributed in you being more you in this platform. Dude, collaborating with you in the beginning of 2024 was such a great start from me to this year. Thanks so much for being patient with me overthinking stuff and asking the right questions that destroyed my limiting beliefs. Like you said, for us content is not just something we use for "sales" or "marketing", but it's rooted in a deep passion to build a tribe of like minded people in this world, who we can then serve in the best way possible. You're so right (or at least 'Alex' is). I've noticed that relatability is something a lot of people are looking for. I do too! But people are also looking for 'authority' or proven success. And hope! It's a really fascinating thing to watch and be part of - this not always smooth and graceful dance of wanting to be told what to do and how to do it and wanting to do 'my thing', 'my way' and looking for people who share that spirit. I agree that authority or proven success is definitely necessary, but I think on social media it's not a badge that you can put on an show up with, but it has to be earned by giving your followers relatable value. I touched upon this more in my new video that is releasing today 🙂

Your videos and thumbnails are great man. Keep doing your thing man. One piece of advice, I have noticed your topics are all over the place. You might narrow down your subject matter to an industry and subject. That way you can focus in specific on your audience and they can flow from each video on your channel.

Erfan, let me be self-referetial, though before that this is the first video of yours I watched and I found it really inspiring and helpful in some way. So, I'm 24 now, I did a four-year course in English-Spanish translation studies, I've been trying to learn and specialise in audiovisual translation. I'm still the kind of person who talks more and does less, or I feel that way at least. I do work on changing it, tho. Read this, I'm just trying to gain your consistency, so keep on working on your self and trying to create meaningful content, finding what you like doing most and what you're better doing. Meanwhile, I'ma ponder about that idea of choosing another career path or finding the right path actually. Lots of luck to you and to your content creator career.

Great video. I don't know why you don't have more subs. But what I noticed from your channel is your target audience is not clear. What is the channel made for. Is it you as a person or is it to help the viewer with KZread/ editing. Because i see both, and that's what confuses new viewers. I think if you solely focus on KZread tips like the vid IQ channel where they only post about algorithm changes and lessons on KZread growth, you will be at 1K in no time.

Good point. In the beginning I was too focused on helping people directly with editing and stuff, but it was not because I enjoyed that, but because I thought I needed to prove my authority before I could connect with people the way I want. I really just want to share my experiences and create a community that can learn from each other, rather than placing myself above anyone. That's what I am trying with the new approach now basically 🙂

Keep trying and learning from experiences you make and it will be just a matter of time until you make it. I found that it's literary like this with everything in life. Try looking back 6 months ago and compare yourself to that state. If you've really been trying, you should see some progress. Yes, the progress may not be in having a job or a client, but maybe in how you evolved as a person and how you evolved your skills in the thing that you are doing.

On the other hand, from more of a spiritual perspective, I think one of the most powerful experiences is when something ‘bad’ happens or something doesn’t work out for a long period of time and you just can’t see the reason behind it, but then suddenly something happens that makes everything sense in retrospect, and that negative becomes positive… so actually it was positive all along we just couldn’t see it yet. And that can also cultivate a more healthy outlook on future bad events and look for ways how to turn that into positive instead of falling into self pity and sorrow. Very powerful I think. Also a sign that you’re on the right path:)
