ultrakill player here, the reason the rail cannon didnt work at 5:30 is because you were using the screwdriver, coins only reflect hitscan and the screwdriver railcannon isnt hitscan, its a projectile. Hope this helps!

IMO, ACT II completely blows ACT I out of the water, it's so much better. Good luck with it. Yes, ULTRAKILL's bosses are insanely good. One of its bosses is literally my favorite in all of gaming (You're probably never gonna encounter him unless you put an insane amount of hours into the game tho) The weapon mechanics are indeed insanely deep. I'm 200+ hours in, playing for high Cyber Grind waves, and still incorporating new weapon mechanics into my gameplay. I'm so tempted to name some of them here because they're sick as hell and very useful, but I'll let you discover them. And, NEVER forget about hard damage. It's the only reason you have to dodge and can't just facetank and heal through everything.

If Act 1 made me fall in love with Ultrakill, Act 2 makes me want to marry it and have 10 children; it’s insanely good with fun new mechanics and enemies, while also being a lot harder as well. The game also has a ton of fun secrets and even a few secret levels, including two to award the most hardcore of gamers (I hope you get to try those out one day, the journey there is definitely difficult 😅), so I’m excited to see your thoughts on the next act

ill be playing act 2 soon and going through all the secret stuff after ive beaten the main content, im also diving into gloomwood soon too, new blood interactive games kinda kick ass

@@NotAbsolutelySure I recommend trying out Dusk as well, it’s a really fun boomer shooter published by New Blood as well (and as per New Blood tradition, its developer is insane)

@@frickitweball david is a wacky one, i have dusk and iron lung sitting in my library, i played faith a few months ago (loved it) and not technically new blood but i also just played My Friendly Neighborhood which were 2 other syzmanski brothers and that one was great

@@NotAbsolutelySure well hakita never confirmed it but maybe that was the intention of V1 all along I'm guessing once Act 3 comes out V1's true goal will be revealed

Played the demo and spent the entire time doing the coin flip, 10/10 will buy the full game next cocaine binge.

it almost feels wrong categorizing it as a boomer shooter but the boomer shooter revival is alive and well fr, ultrakill dont fuck around

This is a really fun review to watch as someone who has around 300 hours and beat gabriel in 47 seconds

The demo for this game turned my life around

I’ve done everything there is to do currently in Ultrakill and I can confidently say that it is my favorite game of all time, can’t wait to see more of your thoughts in this game. All this game is is someone asking “wouldn’t it be cool if…?” and the answer is ALWAYS yes.
