You don't see that level of craftsmanship these days, that oven will last centuries. I'm pretty sure that you could make a pizza one day and it will still be hot weeks afterward. I particularly like the pivot stick you used laying in the firebrick to make the dome. Pure genius.

Oh YES! Hubby found this via random, imo serendipity scroll, I was utterly enchanted! It brought cherished memories of when my dear grandfather, a full time farmer, he still always had building, projects going; from an smoke/curing house, a still for maple syrup, another for apple cider, fire pit(s) at all the family homes/cottages. A favourite memory was the HUGE outdoor, deep fry kettle set-up at the family cottage, as whilst it was made to cook HUGE masses of fish caught by family after an entire day on the lake, the irony is we also used it for turkey decades before it was even a 'thing'! My Grandpa and Uncle Hajji are the epitome of genuine craftsmen, whilst eshewing unsafe, cobbled contraptions of cheap odds/ends, are dedicated to sharing proper workmanship, precise techniques, strict attention to detail, no skipping or cutting corners. Even hidden, unseen parts were crafted beautifully with as much devotion if creating a gift for royalty. I last saw my beloved, sadly missed grandpa, whilst he was stood on roof repairing the chimney, at 98 yrs old! The admiration, appreciation I have for this is so pure, as whilst I can no longer manage alone on my own wildlife, rehab, sanctuary garden, using similar skills, from wattle & daub, weaving, willow, vines, hedge laying, dry stone walls, by knowing Uncle Hajji is still sharing, teaching these beautiful, almost lost art, endangered techniques, is so heart warming and inspiring:) much love and warm karma to all, Elizabeth aka Ladybudd

@@niklayolodin6412 вообще-то печниками, почти забытая профессия! Каждый печник мог быть каменьщиком минимум 4 разряда, а каменьщик и 6 разряда без цепных указаний и точных планов порядовок хорошую печь не сделает!😄🤝

Then u must have sucked at ur job idk wtf u were watching cause I do masonry work myself and this dude literally half a**ed it. When he started marking everything down, I was like ok we got someone who actually knows wtf they are doing not just some YTer making videos to make them. Then he started to lay down the bricks (main foundation) and it just got worse from that point on. Sloppy,fast, n half a**ed. Got nothing wrong with people who want to “speed” work but if it’s at the expense of your efficiency/quality. I’m good. keep ur speed, take ur time, better than half a**ing it like this dude did. 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Many years ago I was fortunate to work with an old Italian man who started at the age of making and laying terrazzo flooring back in the old country. His hands were jagged and hard, his heart was warm as a spring morning sun. He could at the age of 80 outwork me, push a laden wheelbarrow of concrete up a sketchy ramp and do it saying, “it’s easy when you know how” to make me feel less of a dead weight. What a beautiful soul this man was to me. I think him often fondly. When I saw this bloke confidently constructing this masterpiece it reminded me of my friend. Thanks..🥰😎

The only disappointment i have with this video is they didnt show us how he got out of the center of the oven...but clearly a man of love and passion with everything he does...many blessings from Canada
