@@everythingharshYeah, you are not wrong. But that isn’t much when KZread, Instagram, etc are full of young women trying to gain a following, attracting males by playing up to the camera. I personally can’t be bothered with them. I am learning so much more about chess and being entertained by the enthusiasm along the way. As for intelligence, it’s chess, that is a given, probably for all of us. And to be honest, Anna’s mum is the one I think is gorgeous.

Need to have an interview with the bug to get some insight on what it's motives were.
@Ken.-
Жыл бұрын
Interviewer: So, Mr. Bug, we've called you in today to understand your motives for interrupting that intense chess match by landing on the touchscreen. Can you shed some light on the situation? Bug: Well, it's quite embarrassing, actually. You see, I was innocently flying around, and the bright glow of the touchscreen caught my attention. Curiosity got the best of me, and I thought it was a fantastic spot to take a quick break. Interviewer: Ah, so you were simply seeking a resting spot? Bug: Exactly! I didn't realize that my tiny weight would trigger such a response from the touchscreen. I had no intention of disrupting the game or causing any chaos. Interviewer: Understandable, Mr. Bug. Touchscreens can be quite sensitive. But what made you choose that particular moment during the chess match? Bug: Well, as luck would have it, I happened to land on the touchscreen at the exact moment when the chess players were about to make their critical moves. It was purely coincidental, and I apologize for the timing. Interviewer: It seems like a case of unfortunate timing indeed. Were you aware of the frustration it caused? Bug: Absolutely! I was just minding my own business, trying to satisfy my curiosity, when suddenly, chaos ensued. I unintentionally became the center of attention, buzzing around and causing a bit of a panic. Interviewer: Understandable. It seems like a classic case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bug: Exactly! I never meant to cause any harm or disrupt anything. All I wanted was a little snack, and the next thing I knew, people were swatting at me and screaming. Interviewer: Well, Mr. Bug, thank you for shedding light on your situation. We appreciate your honesty, and it's clear that this was all a misunderstanding. Bug: No problem at all! I'm just glad we could have this interview and clear the air. It's not easy being a bug in a human-dominated world, you know? Interviewer: Indeed, Mr. Bug, indeed. We'll make sure to spread the word and ensure that everyone understands your true intentions. Bug: That would be fantastic! Just remember, next time you see a bug buzzing around, think twice before judging its motives. We're just trying to survive and find a tasty treat, after all! Interviewer: Wise words, Mr. Bug, wise words. Thank you for your time, and best of luck with your future endeavors! Bug: Thank you! I'll do my best to stay out of trouble. Buzzing off now!

Or a labrador! :-) Either way, I've had insects help me by landing on squares and making me think they were sent by God! Also one man once squashed a little fly on the board. I raised an eyebrow and continued to win that game! With the game of go of which I played an outdoor tournament in the village of Lunteren we had a parasitic wasp hover above the board. "You have a floating stone!", a spectator said. Can you play the game of go, Anna? It is late 00:10 am here. I might now stay awake all night 'cause I passed the midnight time of day. It is a good rule to always go to bed earlier. Oh well.. :-) Nice win, Anna!
How funny is that to hear your mum. She has become so great on your stream that the whole world wants to listen to it (including insects!) insects have great taste and know who to listen to

The first computer bug was a moth that landed on and shorted out the memory of an IBM computer back when you could actually see each individual bit of memory as two wires crossing. Since that time computers have evolved gigabytes, but bugs can still crash the system with the same primitive strategy. Congratulations on rising above the situation and surrendering the exchange for a better position that ultimately won you this game!
You really played wonderful tactics with your "nothing to lose" mindset. It made you more confident. Maybe you should have this mindset more. I absolutely love your channel and your enthusiasm!

That was a brilliant game Anna. Very well played. Thanks for posting.
When I read the title, I was sure that a wasp or something similar was flying around the board all the time and stopped you from focussing on the game. Which, by the way, is my worst nightmare. I think I would just resign and leave if that happened. 😂
Absolutely excellent!!
Congratulations! I'm happy for your win 💪
Another excellent game! The exchange sacrifice was ingenius. Your two Bishops ended up being stronger than the Rooks of your opponent. As I told you in my previous comment under your first game, you are ALREADY over 2,200 in strength! Bravo!

great content again, I can't wait for your next tournament !
It's great you're going deep - like the ... Qb6 variation but in the end you're evaluating a future position which is less reliable than evaluating a current otb position. Only pointing this out because time pressure gets to you eventually. Good story - thx!
