How can you not root for this young lady. She's bright and full of happiness. Such a great personality. Good luck young lady and keep us informed as I know you will.

He's the only player in the tournament that has more points than Anna. Pretty awesome for the two of them to be so dominant considering there's some VERY strong players in the tournament.

I am SO looking forward to Anna's analysis on Day 9 game of the tournament.
Congratulations Anna, fantastic result in this tournament and amazing recaps every day!
Pls participate more tournaments in the future !! I really like this kind of content. Congrats to your performance and thank you and Pia legendary commentary
Anna has won me over. The teams I follow and root for are Anna Chess team ( mother to), OSU Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals.

With you on all, especially Team Anna, but… Buckeyes over Bearcats? Hmmm…
I have to be honest: I live and breathe those vlogs so much. Your enthusiasm levels can't be matched and you are a volcano of energy! Everyday I'm looking forward to seeing another report from your adventures! : D I love the established formula for the edit of this video: the same intro, transitions, music, and the lovely outro (please keep it forever). Good luck and keep being you! :)
You did very well in the endgame which you claim being one of your big weaknesses. Kudos for recovering from a wobbly opening!
I absolutely love following you through this tournament! great job so far and good luck tomorrow!
I really like these tournament recaps and the streams with the analysis by your mom. Would really like to see more tournaments like this!
What a battle! Great job, and thanks for the explanation. It really helps me improve 👍
Love your positive energy
Just wait ..I'm inventing a time machine...one day..🙃💕
I was thinking about how much your mom must love being involved in these chess tournaments with you, and it cracked me up because she's kind of like a pageant mom but respectable😂
Enhorabuena por ese torneazo! Muy buenas las partidas y muy finos tus finales! A seguir así!
I have been sick this weekend, I am not a chess player by any stretch, but I have found your channel, I have binge watched a bunch of your content, and you are such a bright light on the Internet. I never imagined I would subscribe to a chess channel, but this lady is a new fan of yours! Don’t ever lose that big smile of yours!
Excellent job in another great comeback. I'm looking forward to your success in the next match.
Anna makes chess so interesting and fun even if you don't play it. Chess Princess.

Word. I have never played chess and not had an interest. No idea how she showed up on my feed but I watched that one, and I was HOOKED. Still don't necessarily want to learn, but just like golf (which I also don't play but like to watch), I can appreciate the sheer skill and complexities. Understanding that, I can watch in awe, and that alone makes it SO interesting for me. Thank you, Anna, for being one of chess' best ambassadors. I'm completely interested now, thanks to you! Bless you and your exuberance!!
I love Love LOVE that you keep the result a surprise to the end :)
That was fun. Thanks for taking us through it!
Keep explaining the moves you make! I really like when you get deep into your decisions!!
Good Game. Almost Invincible Anna. I hope you reach 2100+ soon.
Sadly I missed the last game live streaming, waiting to see the analysis tomorrow, I loved to watch your tournaments never thought it would be so fun. Is always a joy to watch you!!
Thank you for this recap and congrats on the draw! Can't wait to see Day 9!
Congratulations!!!!!!!! Felicitaciones!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Anna, I really enjoy your recaps, well played 🙂
I love following this - I’m going to enroll back into tournament chess.
you are so Awesome!! Thank You for all of your excitement and your journey into the Chess World.
A startling mature handling of a sophisticated position. It looked like a titled player with the white pieces. Bravo.
You are the very best at showing both the joy of chess as well as the struggle. How a player must be both an idealist as well as a realist.
Wow, you played well with that terrible pawn structure the game reminded me of pawn storming positions in the Jobava London with Bf4 and no c4. Usually, in the Jobava Whites Bishop is exchanged on d3, and then Ne2 is played.
Very interesting! Congrats on the 40 points!
love the positive energy!
Excellent game!!! End game was superb! Congrats on the 40!!
Because I'm just a meathead American that played American Football, Track, and Baseball. Im gonna need Anna to change that "If" i win today to "When" I win today. Idk if its the nature of chess. Maybe just not her personality. Not knocking her. Great Tourny overall and loving her mom's commentary. Just want that confidence in herself.

You can calculate the probability of a win based off players ELO rating. It's a game where you become very intimate and knowledgeable about yours and others' personal performance. So it's not perceived that trying harder will make you more likely to win. You're generally aware what the odds are going into a game. That's how I see it anyways.
@Nightcrawla7

@@Z6D4C4 ahh, that makes sense. Ty for the explanation.
After pony fd7 (04:04) bish d3 is interesting, too. You have an easy game and the chance of e4 or f4-f5 later. After bish d6, bish xg6, bish g3+, king f1 and fxg6 the pawn on g6 is a target.
We are very proud of you, little BIG Anna!!!👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🍀🍀❤️

Nice comeback after these unlucky last opening moves. Your performance this tournament is quite impressive and I hope you can also enjoy Mallorca a bit. See you in the next one
Everyone should be as happy as Anna. That would be nice.

Iv said it before I love your analysis videos. I am now 50, i was never a chess player when young, I tried and failed. Could never step back and look, think, learn. I am learning so much from you. Thank you, You have such beautiful parents, and I love your energy. You make me laugh in every video. I am now playing and winning against 1600 - 1800 bots. Thank you.

Well done! Be brave, be smart and good luck tomorrow
HI Anna, nice fight! I tought you are dead lost after the opening and the bad pawn structure. Btw: which sources do you use to prepare for your opponents?
Congratulations Anna. Looks like you are on your way to becoming a GM just like your parents 👍
Vicious and magical bishops

Congratulations to the "Vicious Bishop" Anna C. Well played.
Nice moves when your opponent fought till the end. Good luck tomorrow
Oh man, I miss churros con chocolate for breakfast. Congrats on the great results for the Cramling Bellon family! Is this f3 usually played in preparation for e4 so that if take then take back and keep the center and after castle then you can control the f file? I’m a noob, so please excuse me if this is a stupid question.
very good game Anna. Pushing even for the draw.
Everybody can play a good position, the real strength shows if you are in a bad position! The right mindset can make such a difference! Good luck for the rest of the tournament!
I don't know about this specific variation and I am certainly not that good at chess. But the f3 move is part of theory in similar positions with the bishop on f5 (usually the move order is h4 - f3 - g4, but it doesn't really matter). So it is often a good move and a move you should be prepared against. Here, where both c4 and d4 are played, I don't know, maybe it's not the best idea to weaken both flanks, but still, it's a thematic move.
It has become clear that you were underrated coming into the tournament. Good job getting the draw. Good luck in the last round to your father and you.
Noice job keep up the great work 👍🏼🤠🇨🇦
badass
Best of luck Anna, hope you end on a high note :D
Anna. You are amazing in every way!! You are a winner😁💯🇺🇸🫶
Good luck!
Good Luck!
How much elo do you think you will gain after this tournament?
Do you edit these videos yourself (during this tournament) or do you have an editor?
Well done, Anna!
I've actually met Gabriel Voiteanu in my last tournament, very cool guy
Ana sleeps to 10:30.... ran to breakfast, went back to bed. "because the game started so early there was less time to prepare" 🙂! I'm sure being well rested was a good help 🙂! Great game Anna! love to see you doing so well, congratulations!
Great game!
Well done!
How does the format of these tournaments work? Looking at the standings, it seems like a few people (like Anna) are playing every round but other people have only played a few games (about half the people on the standings look like they've played 1 or 2 games while there are a half dozen who have played 8 or 9).
Bishops are most vicious and concealed on line 2
I'm at "vicious bishop" part. Anna either smoked or drank something holy fk.
LOVE that Rook maneuver in the endgame.
