Good review and appreciate the honesty. I have a green putching machine and was looking to get this. My green pitching machine soring does not stay down anymore.

Thanks! And the green pitching machine can be tough sometimes. There are a few things you can try if the plunger won't lock in place long enough to walk back to the batter's box. Mine just did this a couple weeks ago. I took it completely apart. Cleaned it, reapplied the proper lube where needed and then put it back together. Works like new. I would start there, and if you need some help, email poptoss!!

A small 5/8 lb dumbell as weight worked for me 8:02

A pretty solid idea!

If your going to use a second person buy a Blue Flame and hit regulation pitches so you dont throw your timing off. I have a green toss and a Blue Flame.

If you use this regularly, I would recommend putting something in front of the machine. You hit it once and you’re having to pay 20 for replacement parts. I use my ball cart wagon in front and let it shoot over. The whole reason I got this was to practice alone, so the only benefit I see is the ability to pitch at a more realistic distance.

i have not, but it very much sounds like something i could give a try. I have a set of the SKLZ balls that may work well with it
