Yes but it is recommended to be fully removed after 1-2 refills.

I just did this yesterday to my nails. I'm still learning. One was lifting pretty bad and I repaired that and filled the others. Wish me luck and hoping they last lol

It’s much better to do in the feels for 2 sets and then remove especially if they are someone who likes to come in every 2 weeks. It’s not good to constantly soak their nails in acetone.

Also back fills are much better for the nails as the product protects the natural nail. Every time we remove the product, buff and file the natural nail over again, we are exposing it to more damage and potentially over filing. This way we only have to prep the new growth and maybe touch up the lifted areas.

do you need to use a gel base coat before the builder gel?

How would you remove builder gel with the gel x? 😅I know you can’t really soak off the builder gel.

Do you need to apply a gel base coat (not builder gel) on the grow out area before applying the builder gel at all?

The natural nails could definitely have a overlay with that length.

she has a video filing in a gel x manicure with acrylic! i think if u search up glammedbeauty gel x fill it should be the video with extra long nails

Do you use only apres nail tips ?? I tried a set with igel beauty tips and the shaped rounded out after 2 weeks. I know gel is soft so it changes quickly. Just wondering if it's normal wear break down ? Thanks ❤️

I use btartbox nail tips on Amazon and have had a set last up to a month without rounding out

Nope:3 it may take a minute longer to cure, but I’m pretty sure as long as you’re using polish that’s translucent enough for your lamp light to pass through and you’re not curing over any uncured layers it should come out sturdy 🙃

That’s why I prefer to go ahead and replace the whole nail because I’m not pro enough to have smooth nails 😂mine would be lumpy…and lumpy and polish don’t mix

I did my first set of gel x tips last month. I change my nails often and I’ve refilled my set three times now. I changed the shape from xxl square to xl stiletto on this third set. I might take them off for next set but who knows. 🤪🤷🏽‍♀️

If your prep is good and you remove the lifting everytime, yes you should be able to do that! Make sure to always chck the health of the nails !
