Hah, I literally laughed out loud when you complained about not having enough space for an awesome looking multi-effects box while standing in front of a wall of old test gear
Love your sweater, looks a bit bitcrushed or reduced

Refreshing beats coming out of your studio lately! Great video and inspiring use of the gear as always!
I’ve been waiting to see a video like this for this unit for ages! Thank youuuuuu
I'm not an electronic musician, I'm a drummer, somewhat of bass player and generally into tech, but I wasn't expecting a unit like this to be
"I am the least difficult of men. All I want is boundless love." Frank O'Hara, Meditations in an Emergency. Well, you have it from me. Thank you for all your music.
I was wondering when this would get some attention! I was surprised to find only one article about it when it was announced. I was gonna be so disappointed at how little people seemed to care. This thing is incredible!
From the sound quality i wasn't really expecting it to be sub €1000. This is practically a steal. Getting all these effects as analog guitar pedals would be wayyy more expensive
it's so nice to see you having fun!
The delay sounds awesome! Thank you for sharing.
You ALWAYS have the most interesting devices, wether they be instruments or effects, super inspiring, be safe and well, cheers...
Wow what a beautiful ethereal tone ! It's stunning. I'm hearing every 1980's SciFi film soundtrack ! I hope this machine gets more recognition.
What a beautiful piece of equipment! I don't have the space for it for the foreseeable future, but if I ever do, I'd definitely consider this. I was a bit sceptical when you mentioned the diode clipping (tends to be a bit harsh), but they implemented it perfectly; I love how subtle it is. The price point is also impressive. So yeah, it's not for me right now, but knowing that people make this sort of stuff makes me happy :).
That looks and sounds like an amazing bit of kit.
Cool effects unit. I was particularly amused by the impeccable ‘jaw harp’ sound made at the 15:10 mark using the optical phaser!
Seems like the perfect effects for Soma Lab gear.

First thing I thought when I heard it too... its dark tone would be a nice seasoning to Soma’s sound
Great video. You really showcased the value of this product well. I want to buy one now.
You always get the good stuff very cool gear you use!
Great video and review. Thanks Hainbach!
Wow that thing is crunchy! I love it! ordering one now because of this video and the fact that thing looks and sounds so damn cool.
Two of these please!!! One feeding the next! 😍 (Also at around 8:57 forward for a few seconds until you turn the rate pot, would be one mean techno loop with a couple other elements.) [Suddenly big German Shepherd begins barking loudly at 14:09]
That's just sick. Love it!
Awesome review and lovely track at the end thanks
Watching your videos is always entertaining
I want your sweater...and the effect box! Thanks for the vid and learning that something like that exists:)
the jam at the end is really dope!
Wow wow, both looks and sounds very cool!
infinite capabilities with this one LOVE IT

@@Hainbach thanks for the reply. Your work means so much to me, and to us all. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people here when I say all your videos have been such a comfort through these crazy times. I truly truly get lost in your videos. Your just, easy to listen to, such a calm relaxed manner. I'm sure there's an army of us the same, but my tastes and interests line up so tight, the tapes, old gear, even the tones and sounds. And your insights and knowledge, coupled with clear easy to follow guides and inspiring unique methods. All with the chill vibe you give off. The actual style of your videos is just so original and chill. .....ok gush over.... Anyway, thank you so much for what you do!
Love the outro jam ❤️
wow i love this effects unit and i love your sweater even more
superb groove on the outro track
just gotta shout out the gear beauty shots during that last jam, getting into huang territory haha :) great stuff as always
Yesss, Finally a video.
I want one....just because. Solid demo
I was aware of their awesome modulair mixers, but the Dust Collector was out of nowhere for me!, First batch of 100 units is sold out, but I just did an pre-order :) Hainbach my analog influencer haha. I was tempted bu the Dreadbox Hypnosis, but this seems much more versatile.
Great sounding effects! It definitely resembles Soma Laboratory Lyra-8 but only this is a effect box. BTW, Finegear's unique Mixerblocks line is also amazing!
This is exactly what my studio needs, some quirky but usable analog fx! I have to buy a new laptop in the beginning of the next year, I hope I´ll have enough money left for it....
An absolutely amazing machine. Space is always an issue but I think if I got one it's something I could see myself using a lot.
Yep definitely getting this
Both you and Emily Hopkins have inspired me to start making electronica again - thank you Hainbach!
Gorgeous sound!
ugh man, that rhodes part.... super warped and lovely
It’s evocative of a modern-day rendition of Irwin Schmidt’s Alpha 77. Lovely!
I'm wondering what effects Hainbach used on that sweater.

delicious demo dope audio science man guy
That groove at the end is sick
This is just great, in my opinion the only thing lacking on this unit is a dry signal killer switch...Hainbach, maybe you can ask them to add that to it? Oh, I was so excited I haven't watched the video till the end yet, maybe it's on your mind too 😂😂😂
19:31 That snare! So good.

Agreed, reminds me of the old Marshal Time Modulator fx unit
I'm a total newbie to this stuff. I'd probably fiddle around with this for hours and not produce anything, but seems like you could have endless fun with it.
My new Christmas present!
+1 for the sweater!
Interesting, especially paired with the 0 Coast. Reminds somewhat of the daring devices released by Soma.
aaahh, these detuned piano sounds...love it
fantastic jam! cozy and energizing as winter rolls in. i need to ask where you got that sweater!
Given that it uses external audio, an envelope follower would have been nice, a long with an audio oscillator, white noise generator, graphic EQ, ADSR (or two), Patch bay, VCF(or two), Ring Modulator....Oh, I almost forgot- the kitchen sink!!
I need this for my live techno jams👽
OMG this thing is insanely cool!

@@Hainbach Awesome! Thank you!
I used to run my drum machine rig with this similar setup and I loved the tremendous delay speed pitching on the dumz it woul generally default to the lowest frequencies and rubberized them whilst the mids and highs tend to live in the trem and the highs sonically prolong in the springs, but on this the springs also introduce a low end with physical contact like 2 Bass Strings and as a unit it sound tighter than my rig did
This thing is awesome, and at only $530 it's a gonga of a deal. I must have one. Thank you for sharing this
It’s funny, I feel like this video is more about your own personal problems with fitting your gear into your tiny space. And your demo at the end is more like showing off all your other gear. It’s like: Yeah, we get it. You’ve got a lot of gear! 😂
Holly shit!!!!!! This is exactly what I’ve been dreaming of .. old school dub mixin with modern tech.. Take my money
Ich bin begeistert dieses Kistchen ist ja ganz schön inspirierend. Danke lieber Herr Hainbach für Erweiterung meiner Wunschliste.
Analogue... one knob/one function one function/one knob.... I've never seen such a thing.... it's GORGEOUS! I've not seen anything like that except for daisy-chaining a load of pedals....
Thank You. That's true electronic music love.
That outro Jam!!
That's cool, Kinda want one for my BARP blue marvin. I'm running out of space and have plenty of pedals and a DYI spring that works well. I do like the price point. Will be on my Radar for sure.
I love your sweater.
on matrixsynth they pointed out this unit was built for easy modding too. first 100 units sold out-- next batch in feb.
I love your collection of Jumpers (der Springer) I hope the translation is good.
the fact that they added some patch ability makes me wish they had went all out with it and had a fully fledged patch bay. this still looks real cool tho
DUDE YOUR JUMPER
Amazing!
I must have a unit like that 😳😳😳 it's amazing!!
sehr schön !
I just pre-ordered one.
This machine is amazing !!!
Man’s got some cool gear 😮
Spring reverbs stroked and prodded with modified electric toothbrushes are entertaining. There needs to be MORE electromechanical abuse of spring reverbs. I had thought there'd be a dark, blank stare at the tape EMULATORS but nope, they were accepted as part of the group but still sounded good. All in all, it's a pretty good unit and delay is always an effect that is more than the sum of its parts x 1,000,000 if experimented with well.
Man this is dope got dat grunge
jesus this thing is freaking awesome
Fx sound very nice smooth and lucious
I heard Dub?! here I am. great vid
That PT2399 isn't Analogue. I learned all about them after I found out that the Danelectro SpringKing, which has an actual Spring in it... also features the Princeton Technologies 2399 digital chip!
Great video... Question though - What does the control voltage due in the delay? Modify the time? (I didn't hear you say...) I love the outro music...
Reminds me of the Dreadbox Hypnosis, but with a far greater modular ability.

Exactly what I was thinking, only this does not has stereo :( I was really tempted by their beautiful box, but I just pré-ordered this beast.
8:15 - I think your delay was switched with fuzz distortion by a very happy accident! WOW, that's awesome.
Like a massive Field Kit FX, without the CV interface :) I've been using the FK FX a lot lately (its all over that same recent album that I put your WIres VST all over), and this seems like a great desktop alternative. FKFX gets a bit cramped! :)

Probably- it’s wild how I noticed the compression at work here. In the room at Good volume each setting is very different, but once it went through all the conversions it’s all flattened. I would love to try this on a huge PA sometime
Its amazing unit
Oh nnnoooooo I really want one of these. Color & knobs remind me of the old Ibanez multi pedals
