An ALBUQUERQUE Tradition: FRONTIER RESTAURANT- A Local Favorite!
Albuquerque is gearing up for Balloon Fiesta Week, and if you are coming to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and you are looking for a great local place to eat, look no further than Albuquerque's own, Frontier Restaurant.
This restaurant has been an Albuquerque Favorite for over 50 years! Owners Dorothy and Larry Rainosek opened this restaurant in 1971 and over the years it has expanded to five dining rooms!
Located at 2400 Central Blvd (on historic Route 66) Across from the University of New Mexico. I recommend the Frontier Burrito, their Fiesta Burger, and their green Chile stew, and of course, the famous Frontier Sweet Roll!.

This restaurant seems so fun. We’ll have to go back next time we are in the area. The owners did a great job with the decor. Crazy how you guys put Chili on everything. And that’s not even considered hot.

Your food at the Frontier Restaurant looked delicious. i love the decor and vibe of this restaurant too. The Frontier Burrito looks great, as does the Fiesta Burger. Really want to try their sweet rolls too. We have got to check these out some day when we make it out to Albuquerque. Thanks for sharing Frontier Restaurant with us!
