My wife and I recently did a spontaneous trip to Santa Fe. I found this video as we were driving there and ended up doing most of the things on the list. We had a great time and really appreciated that you basically planned our trip for us! Thanks! 👍🏻
I too live in Santa Fe. Good job! You got some good highlights there. Of course, you can spend years here and still discover new things about Santa Fe. I would add yet another church. The Santuario de Chimayo. As well as a drive up the mountain to the Santa Fe Ski Basin. Talk about great sunsets, this is a good one.

I'd love to visit this place. I'm from North Carolina so it's another world for me. But a great place to practice Spanish I'm sure as well as learn about this ancient part of our history. NM seems like what a Native American society would look like today

If you ever go back check out the historic turquoise trail and it’s tiny towns connecting Albuquerque to Santa Fe. The 80’s movie young guns was filmed there

Such a beautiful place. Greetings from the other Santa Fe, Argentina!!!.
Born and raised here and I can say these are all the most tourist-packed areas in the city. Basically down town is a tourist orgy
Meow - like how a cat meows.
Beautiful weather even in winter inLas Cruces, New Mexico. Be sure to eat at Tomasitas in Santa Fe and a dozen or so other places. Thank you, love New Mexico.
It's meow like a cats vocals. "Meow wolf"

Meow isn't local slang, it's an old nationally used well used word. I would gladly give him a break it was local vocab, or if English was clearly not his first language, but this was just bizarre.

I would also highly recommend Ten Thousand Waves Spa and camping in Hyde State Park. Both are northeast and close by. Also, everyone must experience New Mexican cuisine.
Santa Fe at Christmas time is a magical place
Love Santa Fe.
I was in Santa Fe for a wedding years ago and didnt get to see any of this good stuff. I want to go back and explore after seeing your video.
18. El Flamenco. As a local, this show is a gem. This dance troupe are passionate and the musicians are world class. Thats if you are into true Santa fe culture
This is a great video. I'm visiting Santa Fe later this summer and your suggestions give me a great head start on planning
Love Georgia o Keefe! We passed through Santa Fe when I was in Highschool and my Mom bought some of her art, we have it in our living room. Beautiful!
Love Sante Fe! Such an amazing part of the country. Really enjoyed your tips!
Santa Fe has always been a favorite place for me,I love the architecture and of course the awesome food!
Youissed chimayo, the sand where the crucifix was found. A church was built over the sight. But at the people's request a hole was left on the floor, where the cross was found. People claim miracles when they take some of the sand. No matter how much sand is taken, it never depletes. A miracle In itself
AWESOME, add almost all of your stops to my next Scenic Drive through NM. Great Video!
Love this and love Santa Fe!
I am an artist and want to live here, but this guys pronunciations are killing it
I'm the 11 generation French born in Santa Fe. Thank You for Representing Our City with Accuracy, As Well As the Surrounding Area. Next time in Town, Go to La Fonda Hotel, right between the Cathedral and Loretto Chapel. The Bell Tower Bar and Restaurant has another Great Sunset View...

My parents are from North New Mexico. Live in Texas now. My Dad grew up in Chama. I know we are descendent from Spain, and Native American. I remember my Aunt saying someone was French . I love going up there, and find places to eat. I'll be going next Friday. Have a Good day.
Thank you for all the work you put into this. I'm looking forward to my trip, especially the chocolate!
This is a great list! My daughter and I are doing a road trip out west and planning a couple days in Santa Fe. This gives us a few new ideas of places to see.
Great video. Planning a trip there in spring of 2020. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas.
I would recommend the ski basin, it’s a 15 mile drive through the mountains with some of the best views in the state. There are dozens of camping grounds and wildlife along the way up. Also, Ten Thousand Waves is a good spa resort just outside downtown. Definitely need a video on restaurants though, there are just so many!

I lived in Albuquerque for 4 years. Santa Fe is a great & special place to visit.
It's very wonderful!
I Love New Mexico..!!❤️
Great tour of a place I really love! You covered most of it, I'll have to say, but when you were headed down the mountain from Bandelier on New Mexico Route 4 if you went just a few miles further you'd have come to an amazing place now called the Valle Caldera, formerly known as the Valle Grande and also as the Bacca Location no.1. The Bacca was a cattle ranch that was given to Louise De Bacca by the king of Spain. It encompassed pretty much the entire north central part of the state. Since then the ranch was sold off in parcels until only 98,000 achers were left and then in the late 90's it became a possession of the U.S. Forest Service. I was a cowboy on the ranch between 1996 and 1999 while the Dunagan Corporation of Texas owned it. It's an amazing property and is open to the public. South of the Valle Caldera on Route 4 is Spense Hot Spring, one of the nicest hot springs I've ever visited. The water is Geo thermally heated to a temperature of 101° year round. The Jemez mountains are very volcanicly active and are home to many great springs. The town of Jemez Springs is another 10(?) miles to the south of Spence Hot Springs. For many years it was a ranching community and durring the second world war it nearly became the site of the National Laboratory but Los Alamos won out because the War Department was looking for a mountain town with only one road in and out. N.M.4 went through Jemez Springs and terminated in Los Alamos at that time and that is why the National Labs were built there. Einstein and Oppenheimer did make many of the final calculations in the development of the atomic bomb in Jemez Springs in what is now The Jemez Mountain Inn, a very nice B&B. There are many nice places to stay there and there are a number of great eating places and art galleries to check out. Were I in Santa Fe looking for things to do I'd definitely go to the Jemez. It's not far. The people there are wonderful and Route 4 is designated a National Scenic Biway and I'm sure I couldn't recommend a more beautiful place to see. By the way, there is an authentic cowboy saloon and restaurant called, Los Ojos (the eyes). Food is great and that's where the locals go. Worth investigating. Thanks for the video!

Einstein didn't have anything to do with plus albums. He was not a "nuclear" physicist. (Relevativistic mechanics) Edward Teller actually did most of the calculations with a few other guys. They used a lot of women to actually do the repetitive computations. (PDE Solutions can be extremely repetitive. This is why computers made all the difference.) Oppeheimer was primarily involved with management. He was selected because of his friendship with so many of the scientists of the day. It turned out to be a mistake because he Foolishly have many of the secrets to the soviets. [ I am retired from working in this area. (Research engineer) I knew and worked with many of the scientists. Teller was the most brilliant man I've ever worked with. Met him while I was in graduate school at Stanford.] The National Atomic Museum in Albuquerque gives some of the story. (Most of the truth will never be known outside the classified world.)
Love it. Thank You for featuring our home city so well!
The food is amazing. Santa Fe Grill has the best tortilla soup I've ever had.

Thank you so much I’m going in two days for the 1st time! This is very helpful
Awesome as always!
Just visited in April and loved Santa Fe. Did a lot of these mentioned. Beautiful city and very quiet, which can be a bit of an adjustment coming from New Orleans. But similarities are plentiful (art thriving city, free spirit vibe, local 8ndigenous culture, etc.)
Wow that cathedral is beautiful.
That was awesone
Awesome video I'm headed to santa fe for the first time with my wife in 3 weeks

How do you like it?
You forgot to mention Ojo Calente. And the hot springs there. Also the French Bakery at the La Fonda. They have excellent pastry, sandwiches and the best onion soup in Santa Fe!! It is very old world. Espanola is the Heart of Northern N.M; it is NOT a ghetto!! It is also known as the Low Rider capital.

I fell in love with your channel(s). As someone who adores America and its nature, I truly appreciate the content you're providing us with. Would you make videos from all over USA? Like New Orleans, Savannah, Charleston, Maine, NY, etc. Also, your Route 66 videos are amazing :) thanks
NM is quickly becoming my 1# place to visit, its history and its scenery have me hooked. And before i go...Fallout New Mexico let's go! make it happen Brian Fargo!

Amazing video!!!
Cool!
Great ideas!
I love New Mexico
Thank you!
I grew up an hour drive from Santa Fe. My mother was a big city girl (Minneapolis) and an inveterate shopper. Her favorite activity was comparison shopping between Sears and Penny's. This meant that with family in tow we traversed the plaza two to three times before final purchases were made.
Missed this one way back - fantastic list! It all looks fabulous, but loved seeing The Game Of Thrones thing (not that I have EVER watched or read any of that, but George's girlfriend is my sister's best friend from childhood) and the hiking! Great job as always :)
perfect!
Great video. Thank you
Nice!
Oh yeah Santa Fe NM it's beautiful I was live there for eleven years

Thank you, you save my time. I don't need to search some info in internet.
Great video!

Oh, nice! I live in santa fe, and i have no idea what to do here!
Check out the second street brewery ,the staff is great the brews are great and the food is great.
DUDE! It's not ME-oh-Wolf! It's the cry of a cat. Me-OW-Wolf! And a kiva is a "hole in the ground"?! LOL Love your list. There's only a couple things on it that we haven't visited. But then... we live here! :D Have you left anything off? Yeah. Hit the DeVargas Mall and eat at Atrisco's! It's where the locals eat. BEST honest to goodness New Mexico down home cooking. NOT a tourist trap.
I'm from Arizona but I love Santa Fe
Excellent job 👍
