As a scalper, I believe that it is better to make use of multiple time-frames so that you can better-gauge market direction.

Yeah 1min alone and you’ll lose all your money

Just over lay the 1 ATR over the 10 ATR and you will clearly see when it is over it . You do this by dragging it on Trading view on top of the 10 ATR .

Tip: Put both ATR's on the same pane and pin the 1 period ATR to the same scale. Now you will visually see anytime the 1 period pops above the 10 period.

Love the scalping videos. Have watched the whole series and will rewatch this weekend. I'm achieving a certain level of consistency with small scalps in indeces - but with what a swing trader would see as *appalling* risk-reward. So it's early days. This information is pure gold

My advice... 1 & 2 mn TF are used only for scalping... forget about trading on hight volatility days. Use smoothed indicators, on 5 mn and beyond...use R/S levels, on normal days.

I use Excel believe it or not, and Python. Excel is good for prototyping, also it is surprisingly fast. My initial real trades executed 42 same orders within 500ms due to mistake in order status checking. That’s why you want to start with smallest possible unit size.

Hello, great video I want to ask if this works on the futures market too

Something similar i use using moving averages. Issue with intraday is there can be long periods of inaction where markets do nothing and that really bores me out a lot and leads to Impulsive trades. I stopped doing intraday until something retraces to major tunrning points like 10/21 DSMA or previous day lows in strong up trend on daily times frames its a strategy with very high success ratio on all time frames

I love this idea, but I keep getting stopped out on WTI futures by trending moves, especially after equities market open. Which video is good to learn more about how to identify a trend is coming rather than the regression back to the middle of the bollinger bands I'm looking for?

Is your indicator working properly? All the signals shown are simply when the RSI is overbought. The ATR 1m vs 10m seem to be ignored, apart from the first one, although I guess the scale of the 10m could be really zoomed in. It would have been good to see the 10m ATR overlaid on the 1m, to make it absolutely clear.

Thanks for the amazing video. Truly helpful. I am new to trading and I tend to have tons of questions everyday. Please, this is one question- Let's say I place a trade on a one minute time frame and forgot to close the position in a day and it extends to three days or more. What will be the implication of this? Will there be every minute charges? Thanks

There won't be minutely charges but there could be a small fee (financing fee) charged daily.

But it is not clear from the screen in the example how to tell when the 1 min ATR is higher than the 10Min ATR, since they are of different shapes (Histogram vs. Line) and cannot be directly compared visually. and for the second sell point from the left the ATR10 looks higher than the ATR1? Not clear.

You should have bought it when it was $200.. Price might go even higher than $247 (for new registrants) after the next updates.

The problem is the slippage, not the scalp, because it may eat all profits !!!

Scalping is a useless strategy.. U end up paying high brokerages and keep yourself peanuts of money left by chance u r profitable..

you forgot to mention that this method should be applied in ranging market.. you shouldn't be using it in trending market, since the information given by the stochastic(overbought/oversold) is not reliable in this case.
