I got a Viktos Black Arms Compy. It fits my flashlight, knife, ifak, my Canik and 3 extra magazines. For me it works well. Strap is not as comfortable as i would like it to be but its nice enough with two handles for drawing from left hand or right hand sides. The color is like a dark blue and its pretty plain looking. Everyone is different though...

That backpack screams I’m a grey man and trying to hide my gun from you. Especially being army green.

Backpack ccw should be focused on larger guns than pistols.

I see homeless with coyote MOLLE backpacks now. I personally think earth tone molle backpacks have become normal in today's society.

Vertx makes some decent "grey man" gear. I have one of their sling packs for work and have received compliments on how nice it looks. Smiling, I said, "thank you" knowing they had no idea I was packing inside.

I found the opening on the sling bag CCW compartment to be just a bit small for rapid withdrawal

Great Gray Man Backpack 👊🏽

I've been looking for a new backpack. This really came in handy. Have a BP already staged. I picked it up a day ago and it weighs 50++ lbs. Time to get new BP and remove some weight... Do want molle for a few things....

I've got the ultimate gray man backpack - a normal backpack I bought at Walmart - looks just like a normal backpack you'd buy at Walmart. This is just a ridiculous waste of money here as you're paying extra money for a normal backpack which has been specifically designed to look like a normal backpack. You want gray man - how's about me tossing a Kel Tec S2k into my laptop bag along with half a dozen 33 round stick mags and it looking just like I've just got a laptop slung over my shoulder? Most normal backpacks have a nice pocket on the back that'll fit most pistols and not be obvious and can also easily fit the S2K or something of similar size. You do not need to drop $150 on what is otherwise a normal backpack "disguised" as a normal backpack.

Nice!!!!!. I've been wanting to incorporate a backpack in my every day life and just want something simple and useful that blends in.

I was sold on the Devcore backpack until I saw the $500 price. How in the world can they justify that?

I have a very nice grayman bag that has incorporated 3a armor. But this new bag from MFT is sexy AF. Heavily considering it specifically because it comes in an earth tone colors. One thing I didn't see is if it has a laptop slot that can possibly hold a SRT plate.

Can you fit a 10.5" barrel AR with folder in the 30L version?

Bag looks great and quality and $$ even without the granola bars. Depends on if you are in DC area or other big run down city, if it is not a cheap and Dirty walmart bag it has something valuable in it worth stealing. I travel to DC and Baltimore . 😢 The bad guys know quality and touristy. May want to dirty it up a bit or your clean nice quality built grey man bag might as well have a flashing strobe light saying look at me

Overall, I think it's universally true that "gray man" is actually how one presents oneself than just having a slightly-less tactical-looking bag. And, unfortunately, these bags are 5 times the cost of basically any used backpack at a pawn shop which will likely lower your potential threat signature.

Grey hombre or no, MFT will always get my attention. and deservedly so. Some brands earn that loyalty because of what they do and not what they say. Many a big name brand will thump their collective corporate chest and claim to champion the 2a cause and then refuse to do business with the millions of us ‘like-minded enthusiasts” on the actual front lines of the 2a fight stuck in gun-hating blue states. The simple act of manufacturing and marketing a full-sized/reduced capacity AR mag that readily converts to standard cap is not only practical, but its also acts as a small reminder that some day Bruen will erase these unconstitutional laws and our mags will runneth over! for this seemingly small decision, MFT has the gratitude and loyalty of this Grey (haired) man

All I'm saying is if I decided to head back to where I'm originally from for whatever reason and I choose to carry a bag with a better gun in it, I firmly believe that a patch or a button with certain stuff on it wouldn't be out of place and may actually help you blend better in, say, a solid blue college town like Eugene, OR or Berkeley, CA.

Failed. It Screams TACTICAL trying NOT to be TACTICAL !!

These seem to be very feature-rich! Unfortunately, the colors are still to "tactical" for me. The way I walk, generally present myself, and non-verbally communicate, I'm more easily put into a category of "more likely to be a threat". When I'm seeking real "gray man" effectiveness, like at a mall or a sporting event, I have to dress in ways I'm just not particularly comfortable, like wearing Hey Dudes, or skinny sweats. To best complete the look, I prefer a bag that is more flamboyant or obviously purpose-made, like a bright-colored anime-themed bag, (cringe) or even better, a diaper bag or another child-based bag. Probably my best one is a pink backpack with unicorns and hearts on it, which I found at a pawn shop for $7. As much as I've steered away from 5.11, I did find a new bag of theirs which is bright blue and orange that use as a general EDC bag.

Vernon do you. However these bags are designed to concealing a firearm properly and SAFELY with quick access. I have one, live in Philadelphia and love it. It looks like a great commuter / camera bag thats still stylish and unassuming. For those that say it's too tactical there are tons of people using the standard MOLLE bags whom aren't tactical in any way - bike kids, Union construction workers going to and from sites, gym folks etc. If it fits your aesthetic I highly recommend this line. Plus the fabric finish really sets it apart as a higher end travel bag similar to the Alpaka gear. Just wanted to share my thoughts :D

@@RedArgyleDesign Thanks for the response! I do agree that MOLLE has become rather mainstream, and doesn't scream "Tactical" nearly as much as it used to. I also value a bag that is intentionally designed for securing a firearm. Most of all, I'd just love to see this bag in a few more general colors, like blue or red.

not really greyman if its got a giant logo of MFT which is clearly some tactical name. possibly good product ruined by greedy company.
