The story is that, in Mario Maker 1, CarlSagan wasn't able to beat the first "Steal From Ruins" level because he softlocked himself. And when he played this level... he ended up softlocking himself again, in a very unprecedented way. And he couldn't beat the level again.

For me it's a very enjoyable experience watching you playing them. I also like to think on my own how the mechanics work in the different situations! There are also shell levels with this high creativity Nintendo never thought of people would make out of their game.

I think the reason some people don't like troll levels is because the name makes it sound like a kaizo hot garbage level, when it should actually be easier than normal levels. Defender actually said that the one thing most forgotten about troll level creation is that the goal is to make the player laugh, and not to anger them.

Learn the alphabet with troll creators. F in blocks stands for... Fish in block!
