I have a ten-year-old daughter who has been bullied at school for over a year. I put a few songs by Amyl and The Sniffers on a playlist for her and her mood improved. Of course, the music didn't solve the problem, but my daughter has acquired a healthy dose of indifference towards assholes. Thanks for that

I lost it's long time ago, but you're exactly right, this band among others is helping me get it back. Punk's not dead!!!

The real ones always shine through. Amy comes off crazy as hell but in reality the way she sings is calculated, she definately knows what shes doing, shes guided by energy

I live in England amongst hardcore punks, not that I am saying that England is stacked, I just mean I know a few, and I have gad a 100% hit rate with Amyl and the Sniffers, literally everyone loves them, whatever other stuff they like, US hardcore, 76 English prestige bollocks, Oi, NY stuff, post punk, they are all unified in this band.

Downloaded and listened to both albums and EPs. I'm absolutely hooked. They are touring the US this summer (2024) and I'm going. Suspect that I won't be the only old man in the pit.

Here in Poland we have a saying about punk rock: "trzy akordy - darcie mordy" which can be translated as - three chords - a lot of noise. Happy to hear that somebody still can play simple energetic not boring music. Hail to simplicity and good drive!!!

Australia was full of bands like this in the 70s & 80s & into the 90s lots were better, back when every pub had a stage & they were hot, sweaty, sticky beer soaked, filthy fun

It really is! They are for me more full tilt hard rock than punk. They have so many killer riffs and blistering guitar solos they put most established rock bands to shame! And with Amy they have that wildcard that sets them apart. Check out 70s Street Munchies by them. Another killer

What a revelation! Great band. This is how Punk needs to sound. Raw, real drums, real guitars and vocals, no gimmicks, just the pure Punk sound. Hats off to the sound engineer who recorded this!

Ever since I found Amyl and the Sniffers last year they have been in constant rotation at home and work! I still play in punk bands (since 1980!) and I wish I could find a female vocalist like this!
