We often overlook human frailties present in someone who makes such a difference in the way we perceive life. I miss her terribly, both as a person and as the ultimate songstress. I learned of her work early on in her career thanks to a stroke of luck. I haven't been so completely excited by a singer or band since the days of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. As I approach my 70th year, I don't feel like there will ever be someone to compare.

She accomplished a lot in her short 27 years. She always said she let herself down. Many people tried to intervene in her drinking. I can tell you from experience no one can make you stop unless you do it yourself. Sadly the world lost the most talented lyrical song writer and incredible singer of our generation. My favorite. When she sings "Back to Black", notice how her focus is straight and cold, it's as if she plays the events that led to write the song right in front of her, she re-lives every moment, anytime she sings that songs. She always sings the song different than the last, she is contemplating. No wonder she was in so much pain. 💕 pray that she's in peace....

She is very very very expressive to show her feelings when singing the sad ones, she just feels the pain and loss and it just remembering. I thought that she looks exhausted from the tours, but i can feel that she was very sad. Despite this fact, her vocals are unique, full of passion for music and very versatile, none of her live performances does not looks the same. She just improvises continuosly and adapts so quickly. At some point I thought that she was completely dried from the pain. I miss you so much Amy Winehouse. Your music will live forever. I will always love you Amy Winehouse X:O:X:O

Check out Aretha Franklin and Etta James. Nothing original under this sun. She definitely was one of the few special singers who was lucky enough to feel every note... Feel each of them so deeply, she forces us to acknowledge their precious delicate power before dissolving to echos. For all who possessed that power before and those that receive it in the future, THANK GOD SOMEONE WAS SMART ENOUGH TO PRESS RECORD!!! I agree, it was so raw and unique but beautiful and expressive. She worked very hard and listened to a lot of singers and tunes to develop her style and special appearance fashioned from looking through fashion mags from the 50’s and 60’s to come up with her persona

We often overlook human frailties present in someone who makes such a difference in the way we perceive life. I miss her terribly, both as a person and as the ultimate songstress. I learned of her work early on in her career thanks to a stroke of luck. I haven't been so completely excited by a singer or band since the days of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. As I approach my 70th year, I don't feel like there will ever be someone to compare.

She accomplished a lot in her short 27 years. She always said she let herself down. Many people tried to intervene in her drinking. I can tell you from experience no one can make you stop unless you do it yourself. Sadly the world lost the most talented lyrical song writer and incredible singer of our generation. My favorite. She is very very very expressive to show her feelings when singing the sad ones, she just feels the pain and loss and it just remembering. I thought that she looks exhausted from the tours, but i can feel that she was very sad. Despite this fact, her vocals are unique, full of passion for music and very versatile, none of her live performances does not looks the same. She just improvises continuosly and adapts so quickly. Check out Aretha Franklin and Etta James. Nothing original under this sun. She definitely was one of the few special singers who was lucky enough to feel every note... Feel each of them so deeply, she forces us to acknowledge their precious delicate power before dissolving to echos. For all who possessed that power before and those that receive it in the future, THANK GOD SOMEONE WAS SMART ENOUGH TO PRESS RECORD!!! Now we all get to treat our ears to the gift she left us - until we too become echos.

I agree, it was so raw and unique but beautiful and expressive. She worked very hard and listened to a lot of singers and tunes to develop her style and special appearance fashioned from looking through fashion mags from the 50’s and 60’s to come up with her persona
