Amorphis is a top 5 favourite band of mine, they're criminally underrated and so good!! I am happy for them that they are back on the road, I worried the pandemic could be their demise but they made it through, and as you say, they're a gem.

In my top five also. Just saw them in Worcester, MA for the 3rd time. Also watched their live stream show in 2020.

Super excited for this review. I get to see them in two weeks. 🤘 Esa is my spirit guitarist.

I have seen Amorphis 15-20 times. Everytime the show is amazing! And After the show I start to wait for the next time. I have tickets for next summer.

Thanks for the review. I am going to be working so unfortunately will miss this tour however I checked out Hoaxed and really dig their sound and have added them on Spotify.

Got my ticket earlier in the month! Going to the Orlando show and will add the meet and greet. Can't wait! So glad they came over to tour the U.S.!

Totally agree the Hoaxed drummer she put on show. The intro of UADA to me reminded me of Moonspells first album with the wolf sounds. Can't believe I waited this long to see Amorphis live but it was well worth the way. Tomi's vocals sound better live then on record. The only thing missing to me was Brother and Sister I'd love to hear that song live,

I finally had the opportunity to see Amorphis in Mesa Arizona, all I can say is they were absolutely amazing in every way.

Great review!! I understant what you mean by them realy engaging with the crowd. Saw them in Montreal, missed the Queen of Time tour ;0( but I made sure not to miss this one! It was simply fantastic, they truly are a special band, my favorite, what a great show!!

I agree with you about Hoaxed's drummer, I was very close to the stage and I even told my friend that the drummer had such great energy and played in a very "flowing" way, different than other drummers. 80% of their performance I was staring at the drummer.

Seeing them twice next week- Joliet and Minneapolis!

First time seeing Amorphis live and it was a good show! Light and day switch going from Hoaxed to Uada. I like how Uada came out, didn't say anything, played their set and left haha.. Amorphis was amazing and I'm glad I finally got to see them live! Up next is Borknagar on their Devastation on the Nation NA tour. Can't wait!

I agree with you!! Hoaxed drummer was totally amazing! My friend who is a drummer of a band, I told her she's in second place! I have a girl crush on her too!

You nailed this 100% I think hoaxed was the biggest surprise for me those girls were amazing. I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed that uadas fog machine smelled like woodsmoke. Those guys are all about the atmosphere. Not sure if it was same at your show but even their merch table was setup ritualistic/forresty

It was setup like that indeed. The attention to detail is outstanding

Saw Uada last night on this tour, met the bassist at the merch table. He said they fog was infused with like a campfire smell. Which makes sense because of their forest/nature theme they run with. Performance was great, of course.

I love Amorphis this was my 3rd time seeing them in Worcester, MA. I thought they sounded really good even though the bass was too loud at times. I really hate loud bass at metal shows. I agree about Hoaxed, I went into it not knowing anything about them and left a fan and now I'm hooked. Uada I can forget about. They sounded like crap IMO, just a bunch of noise to me but I did like how they all had hoods on and with the smoke and bright lights behind them it was cool. I tried to listen to them on Spotify but couldn't get into them.

I could not get into Hoaxed. I don't really like their style and the lead vocalist was way out of tune. The drumming was a bit sloppy to me. They do have potential if they could clean some things up.
