Gone are the days of $7.99 for fifty rounds of 9mm. I’ve been scooping it up locally via third party. Found 820 rounds of 556 for 42 cpr, and usually a 1k case of 9mm for $250.

Can we get an updated “what I pay for ammo” video? I like that series from you, helps me compare process in my area. Could you add an online pricing, too?

The last time I bought 5.56 was when Walmart clearanced it out at $40.00 per 200. I believe I got all I need. Academy also will give an additional 5% off everything with their store card. It works with all other discounts. One of my local Academy's had CCI large rifle primers At $69.99 per 1000. They need to be scanned in the original box and not split up to get that price. I got 2000 at $61.23 per 1000 with the 5% off plus an additional coupon I had a couple weeks ago. Quit a bit of 410 at $13.00 a box for 3" #6, 8 and 9 shot near me at Academy.

Good to know that they had large rifle primers. Can't seem to find those anywhere

Smashtime knows the owner of 2A Warehouse and he said that since China is no longer selling nitro cellulose to Nato countries that ammo will triple in the near future... He even said that 2A Warehouse is no longer making 308 so they can focus materials on manufacturing 5.56... 🤷‍♂️ The writing is on the wall... don't listen to people saying wait for ammo "to easily return to previous levels"... lol

Selection of Rifle rounds walmart sells is annoying - plenty of cartridges that can be shot from an AR10 but none that can be shot from an AR15 Awful and stupid

It's not a sale hold off on buying tell your friends to hold off and it will become more affordable and yes the price is going to easily return to original levels. These are companies, and they are required by law if they have investors to test market see what we will pay. Ultimately we make the decision

I've dealt with Sportsmans Warehouse here in SW Wyoming plenty of times, and you get no breaks/deals! They list everything at MSRP, period! No matter what's in the store! I get most of my stuff from Cabelas, but I'm probably going to start checking out Scheels in Colorado as well!

Prices are the same here in the opposite corner of the country, expensive.but in stock. Each visit to the shop I rarely see anyone else in the aisles buying ammo except for rimfire the stocks are huge.

I would love to have a conversation with a local shop and see if they'll sell 223/556 at cost to get customers in the door. I was waiting to see how well this video did to see if the ammo videos are still relevant

Powder has shot up for reloading over the last couple months. Munitions grade nitrocellulose is the culprit and will not be resolved anytime soon. I have to wonder how long until it hits the ammo supply/prices.

Sportsmans Warehouse is at pandemic level pricing still on most of their stuff, so I never bother going there anymore. Last time I was there it was a dollar a round for 45acp fmj. Locally I am getting PMC Bronze 223 for 7.99 a box, but 350 legend is still kind of hard to find.

I can find 350 Legend in Ga. But the price is still HIGH. It has came down a little. But, not like it was 2 or 3 years ago!

Local mom and pop store here has 1000 pistol or rifle primers for 12.99. Federal and cci.

That seems too good to be true? A thousand primers goes for $80 and up. 100 primer goes for 7.99 and up

I do. If it's for the cheapest possible I'll shop around and look for free shipping. If it's something specific, I'll find the best price

Sportsman’s warehouse has had the same 45 ACP Federal American Eagle 230 GR on the shelves for 2 months because it wouldn’t sale. $32.99 and only this weekend was it $24.99. Not the best but affordable cause 32.99 is insane

they had better stay low and get lower so i can afford some.

I wouldn't be surpised, if the "Ammo supply shortage" is not just a marketing scare tactics, to spur retail sales again!
