Nice video. I have roughly 1500 rounds thru my xten. Mostly hand loads and the only issue ive run into is with 1 of the mags early on. When i loaded 220gr hardcast, i could get like 13 rounds loaded into the mag and the follower would bind up. After loading 100 rounds or so thru that problem-child mag.. it cleared up and no issues since. Nice shooting! The xten is very accurate im finding.

People are confusing hearing enhancement with hearing protection...they are NOT the same. They DO default to hearing protection...they do NOT default to hearing enhancement. The electronics are completely unnecessary for hearing protection. When the battery is drained and they power down, you STILL have hearing protection...you just don't have hearing enhancement or bluetooth anymore.

I almost did this a few months ago but you hadn’t made this video yet…I really like the way you built it out. Its generating a lot of ideas. For other people reading this, I have also tried some portable tool boxes with wheels which can be cheaper than Pelican-like cases which may work out for you.

Depending on which rifle I'm shooting (they have specific ammo requirements), the drop varies from 6.85 inches to 7.95 inches. Both have similar velocities and are zeroed at 25 yards precisely because that's the distance we use for match stick competition-- light the match to score a point. That requires an exact POA/POI. Beyond 25, dial in the range(s) utilizing a balistic calculator to 500-600 yards (depends on which RSO set up the COF/course of fire. The rifles also use different kind of scopes, one MOA, one MIL, which makes the zero even more critical.

I don't know where you buy your ammo at. However, Underwood has the 194 gr Max Expansion for $65.69 and the 115 Controlled Chaos for $47.69 as of today 06/20/24. You also may want to look at Underwood's 110gr Varmageddon. Its a varmint bullet but at the reduced velocity of the Blackout, it holds together pretty well with some fragmentation. right know that round is $28.79 on their website. .
