Americas Stonehenge EP84

There are tons of sacred and mysterious areas around the world that peak the interest of pagans, historians, archaeologists, anthropologists and all the other ologists that exist in the academia world. To them it’s a matter of science, but to us pagans it’s a matter of magick and mystery as well. The Great Pyramids of Egypt, Peru and Mexico… Machu Picchu in Peru, Stonehenge in England, the Uluru in Australia, the Blarney Stone in Irleand, Megalithic sites in Netherlands, the abbey of St.Michael in France to name a few. Right here in the United States just about every state itself has some sort of sacred site located within its boundaries. Right here in the good old state of New Hampshire we have just such a site that at one time was called Mystery Hill. As of the 1980’s it was renamed as America’s Stonehenge because of the similarities this ancient site has with that of Stonehenge in England. In this episode of Witch N’ the Working were gonna unearth some of these mysteries and dig into the history and riddles of this ancient site right here in our own backyard…. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!!

I love America's Stonehenge. My friends an I used to visit it every Summer solstice. This fall I plan on taking my kids for the first time. Years ago I went to Stonehenge. Regrettably, it was after they stopped allowing people to get close to the stones. Thank you for making a video about it.

I've not visited our Stonehenge here in England yet but a friend of mine was supposed to go with another friend this year but it's not happened. So asked of I fancied going at a specific time next year! So result I'm looking forward to it. I understand the public can't get hands on to the stones because of preservation and would-be graffiti artists but a couple coven members who've been say the land around it is total energy.

There is an actual place, a park of sorts built to exact replica in Western Washington state by an artist/architect who was commissioned for that project by the state of Washington. I have been fortunate enough to spend solstice there. Blessed be.

Another great video. I'd love to see that place. There is a pagan event each year called Stones Rising, where people gather to actually erect large stones in a henge at Four Quarters Farm in Pennsylvania over the last 20 years.

There is a stone circle on the mountain Zaslap under the holy mountain Krn, which some call the Slovenian Stonehenge. It is the remains of the megalithic culture. It is a remnant of the culture of ancient peoples - Old Believers or pagans. What is the role of the circle? It is only when you enter the circle, actually an ellipse, that you see that the placement of the stones in a certain way makes sense. They found out that a certain area was intended for the ritual and the priests, who were supposed to determine the calendar here. The circle is set on the winter solstice, at the winter solstice the first ray of the sun shines into the center of the circle between the two larger stones in the circle. The second role of the circle is said to be energy healing, and the third is ritualistic. The only evidence that there was a civilization here, physical evidence, are the quartz flakes. There is limestone all around, there is no quartz, which means that someone had to bring the quartz, someone had to process it. Based on the corrosion that eats away at the stone from below, that is, in contact with the ground, they determined that this stone, which was taken out of the circle, had been there for at least five thousand years. 😊Btw...I was pleasantly surprised by the end of the video. ..I love the outro 💜

Nit-pick, .. Nice background music but no bird song or stone harmonic echo sounds from the cairns' chambers ? I was taught you place your ear against the stonework and tap the rock to listen to the vibrations travel through it. How did sound travel through the place ? I know it took some time walking around the place and it had to be a bit hard to edit everything down to a short video. Deciding what to include and what not to for a 20min video. As they said on other official videos of this place, and on " Ancient Aliens," you can spend weeks there and not really see everything. So trying to make a fifty minute education video is rough way to go. Then you pull off a short video that geared to feel like in my view a stress relief walk through. Am I giving you too much credit on your soft-spoken narration skills ? Hope you are having a good Labor Day weekend, and G*D bless.
