Hi Bristol! Oh, I like your idea better - the last recipe I came across called for a dash of lime juice, but lime cordial sounds better :) Thank you!!

I’ve just had this vague memory of ready made Snowballs in bottles, that had a spiky metal cap. The instructions on the bottle said “shake gently to serve” - which might not have been so “carefully observed” 🥴 and I have this visual memory of the Snowball bottle being gently shaken, the cap removed with a bottle opener followed by a bright yellow and foaming liquid stream shooting out of the bottle and my mum trying to plonk the metal cap back on the bottle to stop the mess! 😂😂. Ohhh the smell of advocaat on the carpet! Not.good.at.all…. 😱🤣

"Śmietanka" means milk cream. "Paveweck" ("Pawełek") is like a small Paul ("Paweł" in polish), so I guess "Paulie" would be adequate? The same way Mikey would Michałek. ;) "Bajeczny" means both "fabulous" and "fairytale-ish" in our language, so it's like a wordplay. Enjoyed the video. I don't know why but I had sense that you were more stressed sir. You shouldn't! :) Your videos are nice guys and you do some on-point observations. Greetings from Poland.

Thank you. And thanks for the translations. Apologies for pronunciation errors - we knew this one would have names that we couldn't pronounce! We've been noticing more chocolates produced in Poland, for example many of the Milka bars we've picked up are made in Poland. Also found Jaffa Cakes from Poland at one of our international stores. Greetings from California.

Years ago we used to go to the polish club on Sunday when the pubs closed at 2pm, you were supposed to have a meal but I just ate the chocolate wafer bars, I can't stand advocatt and I absolutely hate pickled herrings which they used to sell, I remember trying cherry vodka which nearly blew my head off, 140% proof, I like peanut butter and chocolate, in fact I'll try peanut butter with anything, I really enjoyed your video

Hi Michael! You mentioned advocaat wasn't for you, was it the taste/the thickness of it? Both? Love peanut butter/chocolate combinations here, and the cherry vodka sounds good! We just came across a forgotten bottle of vanillia vodka waaaaaay back in the depths of a cupboard/have to put it to good use. Thank you! Have a great weekend! :)

I 'think' Advocaat originally Dutch is about as close as deffo UK snd possibly Europe get to Egg Nog the Snowball somehow became a traditional Christmas drink and in reasonable households it was considered ok to let younger kids have a very weak version (but only one) for the Christmas toast
