Hi Vanessa, Happy Tuesday and thank you for the compliment! If the biscuit holds together well, we don't mind dunking, but you're right - there's the possibility of messy bottom-of-the cup. Ohh custard creams, love those :) Have a great week too!

It was funny how Ross's face fell when you suggested sharing the orange one! 😀 My Scottish grandmother told me that if you try to break a biscuit in two but you get three pieces then you can have a wish! 😏

I'm with you Tina, oatmeal makes me cough, I've just realised that the Jaffa cakes are made here in Manchester (Stockport) which I didn't realise and when the wind is in the right direction you can catch the drift of the biscuits being baked and it's a 24/7 operation down the road I don't know how many biscuits Richard has sent you but I'm sure you will enjoy them, chocolate and orange really go well together, enjoy

Hi Weedle, Happy Tuesday! Oh..oh no pressure there! Nooo!! Okay, since I cannot speak for both of us, this is Ross, and Tina will need to provid her opinion. I would have to say, the UK biscuits are the best. Now don't get me wrong, I love home-made cookies and biscuits, especially chocolate chip, but being able to try real UK biscuits has been a pleasure. The wide varieties of flavors you have available there makes me want to apply for dual citizenship. We do have some decent cookies/biscuits here, but there's just something about the taste and quality that stands out with the ones we've tried from your corner of the world. I've mentioned it before, we have a variety of creme filled sandwich cookies here which I've enjoyed but most of the time the creme filling isn't actually 'creamy', but more of a firm paste-like consistency where as the filling in the UK sandwich biscquits tend to have a creamy center. A harder question would be of all the UK biscuits we've tried, what would be a fave - truly difficult to answer. Whether it be Party Rings or a variety from Sainsburys, Fox's, etc, a pleasure to try. Our Pepperidge Farm and Milano cookies, I would say those are stiff competition :) Question, are Millionaire Bites actually considered biscuits?

Hi, Helen, Tina here. As far as store bought biscuits/cookies it seems the UK has a greater variety of flavors and some fantastic flavor combinations compared to here (though we don't buy cookies very often). The ones with jam are still some of my favorites - Jammie Dodgers, Jam n Cream. That being said, I do also love soft-baked cookies, especially peanut butter cookies and snickerdoodles. Not sure if you get those flavors in the UK?

Totally agree Tina Mcvitie's caramel & cinnamon biscuits best I've had in in number of years 😋 only seen them in B&M or Farmfoods stores in uk. Pity Mcvites don't list these in main supermarket in uk sure they sell really well Then foxes orange ones.

Are they just starting small with the caramel and cinnamon biscuits? Maybe test marketing them? They are very different from the other McVitie's we've tried and they're so good!

@@FinnLovesFood B&M I normally buy from is equivalent of your Target stores in the USA, get lot of non uk market products although most made in the UK are destined European and World markets. Bit like kit kats in York nestle also do the Australian kit kats then ship to Australia which cheaper than the production costs on Australia. As far as I'm aware Stockport in uk is Mcvites main base in the UK during covid years mcvitie's tried launching various flavours of digestives. The strawberry and cherry bakewell and lemon drizzle, case wrong time to introduce it. Although be fair I don't think any of us realised just how much covid would be around like manufacturers thought be a seasonal thing. It was good Mcvites re did those flavours as I was able send u all 3 a year ago. There be a smaller box on its way to you in late July or early August at latest some new things I found. Chocolate have wait till late October which be my final boxes altogether in October/November 2024.

Custard creams seem like basic biscuits, but they are yummy. Sometimes a simple malted milk biscuit hits just perfect for me though I do enjoy all the fun flavors.
