Not all the food here are meant to be eaten with hands, and they would usually have spoon and forks too back in the kitchen if the kitchen serves food that are usually eaten with bare hands, so I’m sure you won’t have any troubles eating here in Jakarta

Don't imagine your typical peanut butter, Peanut sauce is sweet savory and garlicky and even you can add some chili to make it spicy, and the peanut is fried before smashed with mortar and pestle

If one day you come to indonesia, you should try rendang guys. because this is the best food in the world. it's not only famous in Indonesia, but it's already famous around the world. Every foreigner surely know bali, but i recommend you for come to the other island in Indonesia. because we have so many kind of foods good places for vacation. Actually in Indonesia, you can order most of the food in 3 levels: Pedas (means spicy, but for foreigner it might be very spicy) Sedang (means middle spicy, but for foreigner it might be spicy) Gak pedas (means no spicy, no using chili at all) I recommend you to order in "sedang" or "gak pedas" (or you can say "jangan pedas", to reduce the risk of the seller mishearing it being just "pedas") if someday you came to Indonesia and order the food.. i guarantee Indonesian cuisine tastes delicious for citizen of the world 👍🏻☺️
