@@RNTV "She said No, Fergie" was to rival Manager: Darren Ferguson, accused (I think) of Rape and his Dad was the most successful Manager in Football history with 28 Trophies in 20 years hence the jealousy/resentment:) Don't feel too sorry for the evil monster that was Jimmy Savile. He was famous and powerful but when he died, only then did the extent of his horrific actions towards children, etc, come to light, I'm afraid. He was from Yorkshire and many of these chants are defensive chants from fans of his local Club to deflect the abuse coming their way. The inflatable was because those thousands of Away fans had a Manager then called Dick Advocaat. Much of that was rival fans chanting at rival fans who were segregated. The "waste of £40 was aimed at visiting fans who were soundly beaten. The "sit down away" chant was that the UNwritten rule is that all Away fans want to stand in these larger All Seater Stadiums as do many Home fans and that their team was so poor that their dans could not be bothered to stand.. Often the whole crowd is standing in a 50,000+ All Seater Stadium and the only time anyone chooses to get refreshments is during the 15-minute halftime. The Plant Pot was losing 3/0 and out of that Cup competition. "There's only ONE Ed Woodward" was because he had been recently diagnosed with multiple personalities. "The Going Up, Going Down" song was because their team, continually, gained Promotion only to get relegated the following season. In The English League (the best in the world) the bottom 3 sides get relegated and are replaced by the Top 3 teams of the division below. One team: LUTON who are currently in the Top (Premier) League were relegated from 1,2,3,4 and then out of the league altogether to the 6th Tier and now after 20 years have gone 4,3,3,2 and now Top League:)

@@RNTVen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Savile Jimmy Saville was the host of Top Of The Pops which was by far the biggest music show in Britain for 40 years I believe ( think American Bandstand or even American Idol and he was the Dick Clark/Ryan Seacrest of Europe). He was quite the womanizer (im guessing 1000s of conquests)and there was a lot of sexual assault allegations that didn't get address until after he died at 78. Go to link above to learn more.

Ok, Jimmy Savile. In America, you guys had Mister Rogers - wholesome, kind-hearted, Christian, full of hope and love. Here in Britain we had Jimmy Savile - incredibly creepy, eccentric wierdo who became a household name on TV, making kid's dreams come true and raising millions for charity. There were allegations about him but nothing stuck and then after he died the truth came out - it turns out he was one of the most evil and prolific paedophile monsters that ever walked the earth. HUNDREDS of victims: women, girls, boys, the disabled, the sick in hospital, even necrophilia with corpses in the hospital mortuary. He is now remembered as one of the worst predatory sex offenders in history, who hid in plain sight on our TV screens every week.

In the 1980s there was a huge story about child sexual abuse in Middlesbrough near where I lived. Some doctors claiming they were seeing extensive cases in children. It turned out to be false but at Middlesbrough games we all got loads of abuse from visiting fans about being child molesters. I remember at one game after barrages of abuse it was announced over the tannoy that a young fan from the visiting team had gone missing. Seeing our chance for some payback the chant rang out from the Middlesbrough fans of "we've got him, we've got him" this instantly silenced the visiting fans......😊😅😂

It usually starts at games where Sky have moved the kick off day/time for broadcasting purposes. There's usually no consideration or respect shown towards travelling fans. It's a regular occurrence that games will involve a 600+ mile round trip starting at 3am or games finishing at times that means there's no way of getting home by public transport.

The reason Leeds fans hate Sky TV is that they keep rescheduling their fixtures for live TV coverage. Fans come from all over Europe to watch Leeds and have often arranged their travel and hotel accommodation months in advance to get the best prices. Only to have a late change that throws their plans into chaos. Sky approached Leeds to ask how they could improve their image and end the hostility with L:eeds fans. They were told the constant short term fixture changes were the problem. The following week Sky announced a series of short term fixture changes for Leeds so they are seen as not wanting a resolution and hence the hostility.
