Will did exactly the same as me when I once tried it, it was cannabis resin form (similar to what will took) and I ate a piece that was meant to be shared with several of us, they spent the next 20mins laughing at me knowing the delay to digest it, the rest of the night I was slumped in the corner of the nightclub unable to lift my arms and could barely talk yet I recall everyone just coming over and laughing at me - PS I never did drugs again, probably the best way to learn is a bad experience although I had plenty of them while pissed yet I keep going out on the sesh ;)

Love the show boomers...got to say i have seen Inbetweeners episodes prior to this in the UK many years ago and still find it highly amusing every time i see them so its great to see Americans reacting to it. You can watch the shows every time and pick up something ... its great escapism and takes you away from all the serious.. ness out there in the world today ...got to say the acting and timing is fantastic o...have seen these guys back stage on a few of the clips onKZread and believe me they seam so different off stage to there screen roles they play....every character is a gem the dads mums parents and teacher at the school...all brilliant acting and comedy script writing !!!

Nah Friday night dinner is more later era comedy, it's not that great and more lowkey. It's not a patch on original comedies like peep show, shameless, only fools and horses, royle family and ones like that

  • @anniesharp4871

@@northernstarr A lot of the more subtle comedy in The Royle Family is pretty similar to Friday Night Dinner actually. Obviously it's not your cup of tea, but I think the writing in Friday Night Dinner is fantastic. The comedy is a wonderful mixture of avant-garde stuff and realism, but can only be fully appreciated once you understand the characters. It's highly original too -- I can't think of any other sitcom where you get to witness two elderly women (who are written as proper, multi-dimensional characters!) have a physical fight! I died at that scene 😂

This was a hilarious series as it was so realistic. All American films, sitcoms, etc that I've seen have teenage characters that are played by older actors, and are perfectly good-looking and beautiful. They always have perfect hair and skin and then men are all toned and the women are slim. They're always sophisticated and charming and drive massive, brand-new, expensive cars. If they don't. it's because their character is portrayed as "weird" or "ugly" (when they're not). Whereas this (and most British sitcoms and dramas) the teenagers are played by teenage actors, and they're not always perfectly good-looking, they have crap cars (if they even have one), and have the sophistication, charm and wit of a dish-cloth. They're all gross, stupid, idiotic lads.

My dad was always filthy, funny, brutal and so was all my friends dads. The mums weren't much better, they were savages too it's great. Anyway trip to Warwick (ep 4) is my favourite this series
