American Tank Ace 1st Campaign Part 1
Ойын-сауық
So here we go with my first campaign. I believe I got most of the rules correct and had a great time playing. Had an interesting encounter with some mines. Check it out to see what happens.

Would be easier to keep track of crew members and helps with immersion if the crew all had names
Thanks for this video, interesting to see different people play. A correction for anyone watching: At 10:40 you roll for enemy troop quality. You should only roll once, and the quality goes for all infantry squads. You do not roll once for each squad.
Thanks for the video. There is quite a bit to this new game and I have had a bit of a learning curve to the game as well, but it looks to be fun. Couple points I noticed for you, Combat starts at Long Range except Bocage, Urban and Woods per 6.2. Suppressed units can still fire with a +1 mod to fire. Also you Minefield should have been an Random Event on the first roll of 12 per 7.8, so you could reclaim the lost tank. But this was a good showing of what happens with a destroyed tank.

Thanks For the tips. The rules are not setup in the way I learn the best but all the info is there. This is not a criticism of the rules just my learning style. This is also why I put videos up. To make sure I play the game correctly.

@@TonysBoardLife same. I posted some questions on the compass page and Gregory himself answered me back.

@@TonysBoardLife Agreed. That is a big part of my learning curve. There is some good Q&A on the Facebook page for the game. facebook.com/groups/493178842342838
Once you hit around the 16 minute mark in the video your game was done. Once the only thing left on the field is a single infantry the battle is considered over (it is assumed they retreat).
Thanks for the video. Check rules but I think with only one infantry unit remains in battlefield at the end of the turn, you have to remove the unit and the combat ends. Thanks again for the video

Yes someone on bgg pointed that out.

Where is that in the rules? So far I'm not seeing it.

7.2.6 top right column page 14
And another by the way. The weapons maintenance -1 and the eye for terrain -1 are discounts on when you actually buy the skill. They are not actually skills themselves. So each skill will cost 1 less experience point to purchase when you do actually buy the skill.

Thanks
I believe the player gets one experience point from fort knox. And they get no prestige unless you choose the carousing in bars option, in which case you get 1 prestige, plus one additional if you win the bar fight.

Yup will fix that next video.
Is it possible to turn just the turret rather than the whole tank?

yes it is
Are those magnets on the corners of some of the boards, or weights?

Magnets. I put a self adhesive Magnetic sheet on my table so I can use Magnets to hold down paper maps. I should show it off sometime.
Tony, I think the minfield result triggers a random event. There's an asterisk after the "minefield" result.

Yup I address in part 2.
I thought I saw where if the commander gets a serious wound he misses three missions and then gets an all new crew.
