Agreed. It seemed to get a lukewarm reception, but for people who grew up on the first three it really hits the sweet spot.

I've interviewed a LOT of actors over the years. One of the most memorable being Seann William Scott (Stiffler) being insanely polite, friendly, mannered and I would even say an introvert. SUCH a big contrast with his character 🤣

I can't believe you didn't include the ending scene of Stifler's mom and Jim's dad in the movie theater! That was priceless 😆

I love Eugene Levy's "your chest is very meaty" line in the outtake for that scene.

Rebecca DeMornay as Finch's mom priceless.

American Reunion was the first film I saw by myself in a theater and after growing up with the first three, this movie definitely was. a great send off into adult life. A last hurrah for childhood.

If you were in highschool in 98/99 the original now brings a tear to your eye. It was so true to that era. And there are rumors of an American Pie 5 where Jim is the dad to his teen son.

I cant believe this movie is 12 years old now...felt like yesterday i saw this!

Loved the journey. Was my generation so much love for the group. Oz is the best. So glad he always tried to find love his own way. True paladin. Need a second reunion.

actually the spin offs are pretty good and still very funny and fun time to watch, people did watch them and did have fun watching them. i think they are worth it, would love to see you 2 react to them i think many others would as well.

Reunion and Pie 2 are my favs. Seen Reunion so many times over the past decade…we can only hope they can come back for a 5 with a killer story.

I always said that some films should've been sitcoms. They have the perfect setting. American Pie is definitely one of those, "the 40 year old virgin" also.

American anniversary! It could be stifler planning Jim’s wedding anniversary party or something like that

Seen this one in theaters, this great due to hearing the crowd laughing at all the great jokes.

I love how after 4 movies Seann William Scott/Stifler and Jennifer Coolidge/Stiflers mom have never shared a single scene together

This was another solid American pie movie. So damn good. The spin offs are pretty decent too. Well 2 of them out of 5 lol

This movie is a masterpiece. I watch it several times a year. It's perfect. Soundtrack 10/10.

Band Camp, Naked Mile and even Beta House are all worth watching

The Spin Offs are worth watching if you guys choose to do so, Band Camp is fairly worthy as it actually follows Stifler's younger brother from the first two movies (although a different actor of course) and each of them features Eugene Levy minus the recent Girls Rules one.

the only reason Girls Rules had problems is because it was a generation thing...the four girls were trying to be like the new gen version but the film was made in 2020 and they struggled to allow a lot of pornogrpahic elements on barely legal teens. that gen just wasn't as accepting of it; they had to find ways to make it appealing but keep the clothes on.

I grew up with these movies as a kid and into my teens. When Reunion came out, it was just a perfect finale for me. The cinema was on fire with this of all people the same age who grew up in the 90s and saw the originals, it was a special experience.

By far my favorite comedy series. I wish you guys would’ve seen them as they released. The time between each movie really made you feel like you were friends with these guys, especially by the time American Reunion came out. I left the theater with tears in my eyes because that “till next time” ending had me in my feels.

There's a movie called Roadtrip which came out not long after the first American Pie and Stiffler is in it where he's at college. It's not related to the franchise but he pretty much plays the Stiffler part. Very much worth a watch. Some call it a Stiffler side story on the college he went to. Has lots of American Pie vibes.

The actor for Stiffler said they might do another movie.

Even tho you don't know me... you two feel like a friend of mine. That's why I love to visit you guys and watch movies with ya! I love it! These 4 movies are my exact time line in life.. same chapters at the same time (As of movie releases) and it was soooo crazy to see them grow up with me in the exact same way! Basically.. these characters really do feel like friends of mine.. cause I grew up with them in a way! I just LOVE this series!! So Mrs. Levenstein must have passed away in 2009 (the year Book Of Love was released), or shortly after the events of that film. However, Jim's mother is seen in the home video Noah is watching when he mentions her passing, so she is listed in the credits

I started watching your channel during the dark years and you had maybe 20k subscribers if I remember and I subbed right away but remember thinking these guys are just literally a few bromantic weird dudes that grew on me. The movie series almost was parallel to my life. Freshman year of high school, first movie. Middle of high school, part 2. I got married, third one. My high school reunion came up, this one. They should now have stifler’s mom gets married to Jim’s dad and they become brothers. American Family.

This was the first American pie I ever saw because I was 13 when it released my mom wasn’t gonna let me see it but my aunt got preview tickets to see if early so my mom let me go she said she wasn’t gonna pay for me to see it but since it was free I was able to go it’s now very nostalgic for me

Like y'all said, a lot of stuff in this one that people will relate too. Especially the part about how fast life can go by after High School. Almost a decade out of High School personally and half of my friends are already married with a kid or two. There's another movie that gave me a similar feeling to this one that's also based around a High School reunion called 10 Years stars Channing Tatum, Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaze, and Rosario Dawson. Might be something to check out in the future.

What I love in this series, and I would say the same about Fast Times at Ridgemont high is every character is relatable to someone you knew, or perhaps even yourself. In most ways I would say I was the male version of Michelle. I was a band geek and probably more than once said "this one time at band camp".

@@RedRoseSeptember22 every AP film has a member of the Stifler Family and all but one of them has Jim's dad (Girl's Rules is the one exception, for some reason Jim's dad wasn't in that). All of the films not only have their own story and plot but also have at least one moment where they interconnect with the main trilogy, for example...in Band Camp it is expalined that Steve Stifler's brother, Matt, is trying to make his own legacy and his connection to Steve is indicated during that time, also we see Sherman and we see Jim's dad at the Band Camp and he mentions how Jim and Michelle are doing. the spin off's are BARELY spin offs really...because they all interconnect and there is an obvious timeline order to them.

The first four of the spinoffs are decent. Best ones are “Band camp” and “The Naked Mile”

this was a solid way to end a great main franchise because There's another American's pie spin off but it doesn't had the same feeling.it's kind of relatable with us more or less but we can at some point of our life.

If I could rank these movies, it would go something like this: 4. Wedding 3. AP 2 2. AP 1 1. Reunion. In my opinion, Reunion is the best. I love the nostalgia and the intense emotions felt throughout. It's the film that you can really relate to a lot of the characters.

Such a great Movie Series!

Me: came back for the sequels You: called me a loser Me: likes that

My favorite part of this movie is that they go and get Stifler and finally embracing him as "their dick" and he's actually with them the next morning at that cafe or whatever it is for the first time in the franchise. That to me symbolizes that he's finally actually one of the guys. Before this their friendship was quite onesided with Stifler believing they were closer friends than they actually were but after this movie he is finally embraced and welcomed to be one of the guys. Finally his friendship with them isnt onesided.
