Scotty hasn't known for 20 years 😂
Best Matt Damon cameo ever
This is one of the greatest comedies that has come out in the past 20 years. Definitely has that early 2000 comedy vibe to it that does not exist these days.
The main soccer hooligan is famous actor Vinnie Jones. He was actually a soccer player back in the day before acting. He was a bruiser.
Scotty could've just created a new email address emailed her from that, another thing Scotty doesn't know
Scotty Doesn’t Know actually became really popular and went pretty far on the billboard top 100. To this day it still randomly pops into my head all the time.
For those who don’t know how Matt was in the 🎥: he went to school with the filmmakers and he was shooting “Brothers Grimm” at the time (both were filming in Prague) and they asked if he wanted to come by
We talk about how great a friend Cooper is, but really Jamie is Scotty's best friend. Dude sold his brand new fancy camera and threw away his goals for his summer vacation so that Scotty could chase down his internet girlfriend. THAT is a true friend...
Gotta say, you guys missed out BIG TIME by not watching the unrated version.
I still can't get over how much the blond kid is essentially a Kirkland brand David Spade.
The "Mi Scuzi!" Scene may genuinely be the funniest scene I have still ever seen to this day. I can't ever remember laughing harder at anything in my life
As someone named Scott who graduated this same year.. this song haunted me 😂. But i learned to love it and had it as my ring tone for years after
Cooper is one of my favorite "bros" and "best friends" from any comedy movie ever. He reminds me of a mini Stifler from American Pie, funny as hell
Underrated classic. Deserves much more attention from reactors, or more attention in general. Saw this in theaters on a whim. I knew of Michelle Trachtenberg from being a child star on Nickelodeon. Everyone else was new to me at the time.
Scotty Doesn't Know is still one of the greatest songs ever created. I still listen to it on my playlist to this day.
This movie has been shot mostly in Czechia, including the "Bratislava" (they used some deserted village in the middle of nowhere), most of the cast as well. Luckily, Matt Damon was shooting another movie in Czechia at the time - so he joined this one for fun. Btw: I lived in Bratislava (Slovakia) 1993-2011 and when I was having people from abroad to travel to Bratislava for a training, I asked them to watch THIS movie - so they knew "what to expect"
When the twins make out I always think "Thank God my family is ugly".
This and "Road Trip" are both fantastic comedies. If you haven't seen "Road Trip" I highly recommend it. Two of my favourite comedies from the early 2000s.
Matt Damon truly is the king of fun cameos
Road trip is a good one to
