Dir: Jon Turtletaub
Starring: John Candy, Leon
This was a lot of fun - the 90s were the best, amiright? While it was great seeing a John Candy film I'd overlooked, he clearly did not look 100% (he died of a heart-attack not long after this was released, though he made two other films before he died). Did I shed a tear at the end? You'll have to find out for yourself...

One of my favorite parts about coaching middle school softball is doing the helmet slam thing 🤣🤣🤣
They got you! You lowkey you are one of the funniest reactors I have watched and Ive watched tons of them. Love your style man!
Yay! Great movie. So fun to revisit. Now that I think about it, I really liked a lot of sports movies. Which is funny since I am not particularly into sports, and definitely not into watching them. Maybe because there were so many growing up. Even when I was older, though, I still very much enjoyed most that I saw. Edit: I don’t think there are any reactions to the movie Murderball? It’s a documentary about quadriplegic rugby. I haven’t seen it in years, but I really loved it when it came out. I’m sure I’ve forgotten a lot, so idk if I would still think it as excellent. But I recommend checking it out.
Interesting fact, the skiing movie Eddie the Eagle is set at these same winter Olympics
This is inspired by a true story, but is heavily fictionalized. Most of what looks like real footage is from the American Olympic broadcast, including the crash in their final run.

The crash in the end was actual footage used. When it would cut back and forth. The only that didn’t happen was them carrying their sled.
Yes. It is a real thing in Jamaica.
"Kingpin" is another funny/sweet sport movie (about bowling)
