I'm from France, Usualy at home we celebrate the 24th evening with an extensive apperitive also called dinner apperitive. It's usualy smoked salmon, foie gras, all kind of cured meats and cheeses and a bunch of champagne. The real deal come the 25th with some kind of roasted bird or lamb, veggies and potatoes, lots of smelly cheeses again and deserts, one of the most eaten is a "buche" litteraly log, a cake shaped like a log. all drenched in champagne and red/white wines.

Wow that sounds amazing actually

I'm in England and Xmas dinner would be the traditional turkey dinner and Xmas pudding. I'm not particularly adventurous though but it'd be nice to try different dinners. But for something quick, a hot pork sandwich or Yorkshire pudding wrap are really nice. For drinks, mulled wine or cider for me.

Nothing wrong with sticking with traditions to be honest. Also nothing wrong with a turkey dinner, I love them. I am not even into food very much and I look forward to Thanksgiving every year.

I enjoy a traditional Christmas here in England which includes a traditional Christmas Day turkey dinner with all the trimmings a tradition I generally follow his going up a trouser size this year I started a little earlier than usual I have already gone up 3 trousers sizes I did my January 1st weigh in I have gained 50 lbs since December 1st

We had lobster and prawns or at least I did the rest of the family had lamb . Prawns and seafood are popular here in Australia because we are in the middle of summer 85 f today. Don;t forget the boxing day test tomorrow mate . The pome's are loosing
