Fun fact: Netherlands has the longest non-qualifying streak of any country ever between 2005-2012. But they have been pretty good recently.

Yeah that was a long streak.
Thank you for doing the Netherlands, it was fun to see your reaction. We've had our ups and downs over the years to say the least. Except for maybe a handful of songs, all the other ones became hits or even evergreens. And many artists had long lasting careers or are at least remembered for entering the contest. Eurovision is one of those things that people say they hate, but secretly love here in the Netherlands 😂

Yeah they were a fun one to watch.
1998 is one of my favorites! Such a fun song to listen to. It's unfortunate she returned only to not qualify in 2007 but she clearly doesn't mind being involved in ESC and hosted in 2021! 2003 is super cute and fun, but the staging sabotages it (OK to be cheesy, but goodness...not that much...). Also I like how they randomly have so many country songs! I don't even like country that much, but I like the novelty of it in ESC. 2017's song makes my heart so happy with its harmonies. The singer in 2016 had 3 kids with 3 different women in one year. SLOW DOWN brother indeed!
Hope you can do Sweden, Israel or Ukraine next! my three favorite countries in Eurovision ❤

I just added it to the eurovision playlist. I plan on getting to both of those other countries in the near future. 😬
