You gotta go! Took me a long time to get there. I was blown away by it. You can feel the place! If you can, do the dinner under the stars. Expensive, but fantastic food and sitting under a whole sky full of stars is amazing. I want to go back again.

I think every Ozzie needs to go there. We have been there twice but will certainly go again. Walked around it, push biked and Harley Davison around it. All amazing experiences.

A very emotional ad. Everyone around the the World can appreciate the pain felt when they leave their home country (other than holidaying abroad) and everyone away from home experiences triggers that bring their thoughts back to their own country. This is Australia and I happen to live there but it wasn't where I was born or grew up.... Still, I tear up every time I hear this song.

Safety aside, it freaks people out when they learn Qantas planes use recycled cooking oil lol.

Although this is used for the QANTAS adds and very well indeed the actual song by the artist PETER ALLEN is considered an unofficial national anthem . Check out the original , and yes it it's a hard soul who doesn't shed a secret tear when heard by an Australian

Qantas is actually ranked the safest airline in the world. I think New Zealand took number 1 for a bit, but qantas at this point in time, the safest.

I hope you get to come and visit oour beautiful country, mate. You'd be welcomed with open arms, which is how most of us feel about people coming to share what we're lucky tio have been blessed with by the simple luck of having been born here, especially when they have a good heart and a good sense of humour. Qantas know how to pull the heart strings and, to be fair, are a very good airline (although it can be expensive, which they back up by never having crashed, in modern times anyway, and having Aussie hospitality to offer people on their journey half way around the world.) In the end, it's an ad, though, and the song should be viewed in the context that it isn't about or for Qamtas. though it's genius marketing to have bought the rights to use it. lol

Please research Peter Allen who wrote this song. He wrote some absolutely beautiful songs including this one.
