As a German, I can only say that the Scottish and Dutch fans are the best guests and fans! German fans are very dull, but that's also because the German national team has distanced itself from the fans for almost 10 years, and only now are they all coming together again. It's just the beginning.

So true. I've been in Munich a few days after their game against Germany. I sat down at an irish pub surrounded by at least 100 schottish fans. When one of them asked me "are you German?" I answered yes and then they just said " congratulations for the win, our team didn't score any goal - now we hope you guys get far"

I have been to Europe during the Euro's and World Cup it was amazing, Joel notice all of these people are having fun together going through the streets. No one is breaking, looting and tearing things up. That is hard to find here in the US

The reaction to Englands win on Saturday by the fans on centre court at Wimbledon was amusing 😏 the players took the interruption very well with Djokovic even miming a penalty kick. Never seen an interruption like it.

In the words of the English (and the Belgians as it turns out): "Don't take me home, please don't take me home, I don't want to go to work. I want to stay over here, drink all the beer, please don't take me home". We're a simple folk us English. 😁

Those vids were actually pretty lame, not close on representing the true vibes at all, especially the Netherlands, Scots and Germans. The scottish fans were the best. They played their bagpipes so lovely and they have been pleasend, sang all the time and were peaceful. It couldn't be better ! (I am a german fan)

The video Scotland Fany being Classy in Germany is also mega great no amazing. The Scots are not only nice and funny, they are also very popular with the Germans. The video recommendation is really the best. A must for every REACTION.

I can’t help but think back to WWII. These images of the successful coming together of nations, who survived the war for freedom, just goes to show how peacefully we can and do coexist if it wasn’t for power hungry politicians.

I did the fan walk with the Dutch and was also at their game in Munich on Tuesday. They are the best. :) What a day it was. Wish they would win against the English. I do love the Scots (as it is one of my favourite countries, if not THE favourite), however I had the misfortune to meet only one Scottish fan and this one had to be a jerk. :D But I'm sure most of them are nice.

The difference: 1. The Dutch have a more southern temperament (fire). 2. The Scots are out after 3 games. The Dutch will play their sixth game on Wednesday evening. 3. The Netherlands is the direct neighbour of host nation Germany. 4 We Germans respect all fans if they are and remain peaceful. But we not only respect the Scots and the Dutch, we love them.

Hello Joel. Many of the star players in this competition are younger than you, yet in US sport, they would not have come through club academies as teenagers, but still be in college sport. Perhaps you might find a video on that? I watched women's football for years before England won the Euros at that. The main countries with girls joining the same sort of academies seem to be Spain and England. The recent U17 women's Euros final was these two. No surprise that it was the same two countries at the last senior women's World Cup. The US had been the strongest team prior to that. They recently appointed Emma Hayes from Chelsea to try to turn it round. Note, even Bayern Munich have UK players in both men and women's teams now, though I am not sure about their German language skills.

It's a shame you weren't here in Germany during the European Championships.

Scottish fans are well known as the best fans in Europe and in contrast English fans are seen as the worst in Europe due to the fighting with locals.

US dont have distinct culture. so, they're kind of dull people. each city has to create its own culture and celebrate sports like this.

You've got the Copa America going on at present, also the World cup will be on your doorstep in 2026 USA, Canada and Mexico so if you get the chance then go to a game, or games. If not then go to a match in the UK, or Europe, or anywhere else for that matter, because there's a world of difference with the fans and their support, and those in the USA. Apparently American fans, from what I've been told, and also seen, they're not "allowed" to be as vocal and celebratory as those in the rest of the world. Especially when they sing, sometimes songs are made up on the spot, as a reaction to something that's happened in a game, and then it'll take on a life of its own, if the song catches on, then it spreads to other teams and countries too. There was a time when things were vastly different with the fans, fights in the grounds and in the streets near the stadiums, but that is, hopefully, in the past. Best behaved fans for many a year, especially at the Euro's.
