Ren makes his own beats, mixes, produces, writes and directs. This is why his fans love him. He does it all and without a budget and a label. You don't have to like all his songs but you can't deny his creativity, talent and his genus. In addition his humanity.

Agree ..however not all is totally mixed by Ren, illest of our time had additional mixing by Frederik Moller and that could be the case for others but cannot say for certain but Ren does quite a lot as you say.

Ren produces his own beats, even on the “word vomit” tracks. He’s been making beats since he was 10 years old. The only beats he doesn’t produce are on his “retakes”, but even then he often puts his own flare on it.

Even the Ren songs you don’t like because of the writing of the lyrics you have to respect his beats. Plays all the instruments used in them, uses his voice for effects and all sorts of time consuming production techniques to make his art

I’ve watched many reactions to Rens music. It’s okay to not like something, especially when it goes against your pet peeves. Everyone’s 😮ear is different. I’ve seen a lot of very positive responses to things that you don’t like. That doesn’t invalidate your opinion, but shows that Ren makes the music he wants and he seems to want something different with each song. Just know that you have to listen to each song before passing judgement as each one is completely different. Your personality is 🔥. People come at you hard because you have influence.

Just in case 88 other people haven't said so already - Ren produces all his own beats (obviously other then the few remixes he has done, and he tends to add a lot to those).

Producer of the song and video? Ren. Maker/mixer of the beats? Ren. Song/lyric writer? Ren! Simples, he's a genius! He was listening to the great hip hop artists as a kid, started to write songs but didn't know anyone who could do the beats, so taught himself. Meanwhile mastering guitar, bass, piano. He plays in so many lanes, some won't appeal to you, maybe out of your comfort zone? But what an extraordinary talent.

Ren is the producer KSO .. in my opinion your personal experience just doesn’t let you get the multi-faceted Ren.. This is also on his upcoming Sick Boi album that drops in October, along with the recent stuff you've heard. Also that's not guac, it's mushy peas, a very British side dish. Also, a ton of people will scream to do the live version but I prefer this version. He did the production and I'm kind of obsessed with it. This is my favorite of his songs.

Fish and chips - usually hand cut potato's, cooked once or twice, fried. The fish is usually white fish, COD or haddock, not particularly fancy lol, served with lots of salt and vinegar. The green stuff isn't guacamole, but mushy peas. Garden peas that have been boiled and then mashed up, sometimes served with alternative seasonings. Not in the video, but a white sauce called tartar sauce is served with it, which is essentially mayonnaise mixed with acidic herbs and a dash of lemon, often with chives mixed in too. Depending where you go, some people swap the peas for baked beans, or maybe swap the tartar sauce for a thick rich gravy. Yeah fish and gravy doesn't sound good, but wait till you try it xD

That comment you made regarding always needing an adversary, is bloody brilliant. I think a lot of the kids that have grown up being told, experiencing or expecting everyone to be against them, hurt the or trying to rip them off, creates a mental state that means thay are naturally aggressive to everything and anything. The only songs that Ren didn't produce the beats himself on (although he did completely remix them) are when he does a retake. They are: Losing it (Fischer) Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve) Right here right now (Fat Boy Slim) All my life (Foo Fighters) All the rest are his beats, productions, all recorded by himself in his bedroom, he plays many instruments very well, so he does it all himself. He also directs most, if not all, of his videos and has the creative idea laid for the video laid out ready for the videographers. I don't know if he can dance... I really hope he cant, he's already too talented 😂

I appreciate your honesty, even when I disagree with your opinion. You say you're not sensitive but I see it differently. You vibe with the songs that are real, about real lives, and not so much with the lighter stuff, which is being sensitive in my view. Ren does have a really strong fan base who are wildly loyal. Even so, if I liked 100% of his output that would be the first time in my musical life that I liked 100% of the output of any artist and I've been 'into' music since I was in primary school. I find some of the songs he does for fun take me more than one listen to get hooked, but I know there's space for that because I've been a fan of his for a few years now. I think he's brilliant but I definitely defend and would protect your right to hold a different opinion.

The beats are all Ren. I think this and Power are his best original rap sons. His songs hit harder for me when he writes about himself - though Murderer is pretty awesome. You should check out Humble and then Fire for something completely different. Bling Eyed - live MC session with Sam Tompkins as well as their busking of Earned It/Man’s World/Falling are worth checking out. Like Chinchilla, Sam is ridiculously talented.

I think what you need to take from what you've seen from Ren so far is he can create the compelling, deep meaning rap with a strong message, there are tons of tracks like that from him. However he's also happy to go to the fast paced, silly, funny, pop culture rap you've seen in the last track. In that latter type there is a lot of hidden meaning in what you've interpreted as word vomit, thats simply because you might not be interested in the pop culture area it references. I mean who the F knows that "I'm about to go postal, I'm about to go Macbeth" is referencing a great Disc Golf player called Macbeth?!?! I think it's these lyrics that appeal to a wide audience together with the deep meaning stuff, I mean the Disc Golfers much F'ing love him 🤣

Ren's accent is one of the things I like the most when he raps. For me, it's one of the many things that makes him different from others.
