Hobi broke the all time record of lalapalooza 32 years of 105,000 people and merch sales this year. It was the most amazing performance. Suga concerts were sold out as well. BTS knows how to do it solo or together. This was the most anticipated performance

I totally disagree. Not all of them. Reality is only the rapline have enough songs to fill a solo stage AND even the vocal lines especially Jimin’s voice cannot sustain an hour let alone 10 mins performance. Please be honest and lower the over praising of other members who are not on the same level as j-hope coz it is insulting.

He was the headliner of Lollapalooza or should we say hobipalooza Also army from all over the world travel to see him & when they announce hobi for this festival the ticket was sold out completely. @@glorfindell01She/he is not wrong tho, J-hope, as well as the rest of the members of BTS, only recognize ARMY as their fandom. When they interact with the crowd they greet two groups of people, 1st their fans(army) and 2nd, people who don't know them. When you watch at the behind scenes of their solo performances they expect armys(their fans) to be there. Solo fans don't exist to them, armys are the real ones who went through a lot of hardships with them, they've supported and protected the seven members for more than 10 years, of course they can have "solo fans" but as she/he said they don't know sht about them so they usually end up being toxic af. E.g. when solo jhope fans started shtng on bts' members and his company bcs he didn't release a physical album for JITB, later he said that it was his decision and he felt bad that "these people" were harrasing his brothers for nothing.

Hobi had a mixtape called Hope World in 2018. And he has solos within BTS, and collaborations. So he has plenty of content. If you want to know what he was saying during the ARMY Korean talk, you can check it out in the subtitled version from Enjoy BTS More. Also, a fun fact, J-Hope said in his docu-series J-Hope in the Box, that his choice to only wear minimal fashion and no bling is because he wanted the focus to be on his music and his message. And the dancers are The Lab from Los Angeles, and the blonde is Sienna Lalau, the choreographer for ON: Kinetic Manifesto and Dionysus, and they are BTS go to dancers when they are in the USA. They were at both PTD concerts and J-Hope worked with them for Chicken Noodle Soup, and for his JITB Lolla performance.

There's a fine line/ balance of standards that are followed being a Kpop idol. The guys are normal young men who curse, drink and such things. The image requires something different in the Korean industry. As themselves, doing their solo's projects they can break away from those idol standards. The same goes for the tatt's. Jungkook used to have his sleeve covered all the time, but he's made the effort to break that standard, little by little he shows them except on certain Korean shows who still forbid it. In his lives he has started talking about why and how he got them...what they mean to him. Kudos to All of the guys for their solo efforts and showing themselves to be just regular human beings. They don't hold themselves to be people to worship nor be put on a pedestal. I hope my comments helps you to understand these topics better. Love your reactions! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Everything has to be timed and choreographed perfectly...which he did. He arranged everything from the song list to the dance and the background. He did an amazing job in addition to the overall performance. Suga did and said the same thing (that it was hard) Suga did 28 different shows while traveling and mind you he was sick at the time. When you watch fan cams taken from the back it shows people who was there for other group but decided to stick around and see what all the hype was about. We could see couple of them enjoying the performance . Some who sell their tickets when J Hope was announced to perform after seeing the videos coming out wish they had given him a chance.. Lots of them sell their tickets, army was begging them to sell them. Army was not going to make any member fail..

Wonderful reactions, guys thanks so much for setting aside the time for this long but definitely fun reaction. Shout out to Becky G. Also the dancers. 👏👏👏

All the musicians are from the United States and are spectacular. My son who is a sound engineer/ roadie worked this show. He was so blown away by Hobi’s performance, professional demeanor, kindness, and talent! This whole album was remastered and released recently, and three of the songs from Lollapalloza are on it LIVE! Borahae 💜🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🫶💜🙏

Yessssss. Let´s watch it again with the same excitement as the first time. Hobi is an extraordinary performer, born for the stage. A fire performance. A true pro and so brave for doing this challenging performance: an enormous amount of songs, he was the first in BTS to have this in the US. He managed to get thousands there and thousands on the intrnet as no one before. He worked so hard for this. There isa documentary for he preparation. It is so inspiring. He is such a perfectionist, hard working guy as all the other 6 members. Yes, this is a cultural thing about not showing too much but also it is a BTS thing. They have commited to show their talent not their body. They managed to be handsome guys without showing too much skin.. Now they are grown up men and been showing a little more but they respected ARMY so much an they were teenagers wanting to give positiv messages so I think that is why.

The older songs that he played were rearranged to fit into that live sound of the performance. The played from all his discography, stating with Cypher 1 to the latest album, Jack in the box, which was the main act of their performance. Can't see it on the screen, I hope you're watching a video with captions.

They do. But it’s nowhere near the level of vulgarity or the frequency of cursing many artists in the U.S. use, particularly rappers. I have heard some frankly disgusting lyrics over the years. BTS’ harshest songs are lullabies in comparison.

Jack in the Box, is a concept where JH is out of the box and we get to see the other artistic part of him, more dark more hard. Black and white represent that: the sides of Jhope. While wearing white in the concert you will see lighter songs.

It's not Lollapalooza, its HOBIPALOOZA 🤪😉☺️. Thank you for reacting to his performance. It was an amazing feeling watching him and all those beautiful lights were all for him. He slayed that night and i was crying happy tears. 1:32:33 Watching those pretty lights and his reaction to hearing ARMY know his lyrics was so emotional for me... You might see the censoring a lot in their behind the scenes/Bangtan Bombs/Run BtS/Bon Voyage/In the Soop scenes. Unlike here in America where male artists show off their bare chests/Tattoos, they can't do that in Korea. Idk if you noticed it in theor shows, sometimes they blur out JK's tats and yes the brand at times. Unlike here men jump in the pool shirtless and they have shown them with either long sleeves or double shirts at times. But Chapter 2 BTS has gone crazy 😅. 53:42 i am in love with this song (Blue Side), i had hoped that he sang it but it was just a small intermission😅 JHOPE sold out this night (Sunday night) something that doesn't really happen usually because its the last night. Jimin was on the sides and so was Bang PD. I loved this night. Thank you once again for this reaction 😊😊😊 ✨️🔮¹⁰💜⁸🔮✨️

48:25 technically Jack In The Box is his 2nd solo release, since he released a free mixtape called Hope World back in March 2018. But since this is his official solo album since BTS's Chapter 2 began, it's considered his debut album as a solo artist.

HOBIPALOOZA WAS LEGENDARY 🔥🔥 One of the best performances I've ever seen fr. He doesn't need crazy props or a breakdance to killed it! I mean, of course he and BTS use props and has choreos in a lot of songs but what I mean is that they can literally just be there sitting or standing up just singing and they still manage to keep everyone entertained with their performance and hype up the audience a lot. Hoseok is amazing! his energy and stage presence here was INSANE and the crowd was living their best life too. 💜 He made history and broke records with this, his first solo debut performance 🔥 I've watched this performance at least 40 times and I'm not even joking
