j-hope is the best performer in kpop. I'd put him against the best in the world any day. It's ARMY canon that if you go to a BTS concert, you come away with a j-hope bias. There are literally countless accounts of ARMYs going to a concert and coming back like "wow...j-hope BLEW MY MIND." He's got this power and gravity about it, you really can't help but be pulled into his orbit. It happened to me...I went to Metlife Day 1 back in 2019 dressed head-to-toe in Jimin gear but by the time j-hope's solo stage "Just Dance" was over, I was snatched right up. Been j-hope biased ever since. He performed More, Arson, and Future at the 2022 MAMA awards (headlined the biggest music award show in Asia) and he dropped jaws. It was like watching Mick Jagger or Prince or MJ reborn. I think in addition to being really skilled with live vocals and dance, he's just got great showmanship and star power. And he writes his music with the performance in mind too and makes sure to put together stages that make the audience part of the show. He has so many talents but performance is the top, for sure. Every member of BTS is an excellent performer...the fact that j-hope can stand out in a group that stacked is proof in-and-of-itself that he's a force to be reckoned with.

I went to see this show in person (and I am not a festival person at all) but it was an amazing show--the energy was ridiculous--but there was actually a group of guys who didn't know j-hope right next to me. They stuck around after the Kid Laroi and they had the time of their lives. They were dancing and jumping the whole time and they seemed really blown away by the audience participation. The whole back half of the crowd were non-ARMYs (you can tell because they're the people without the ARMY bomb lightsticks), haha. It was fun to read the stories on reddit after of people going "who is this j-hope guy, he brought the house down!"

He actually broke the record for the biggest audience ever pulled at lolla, and his record is yet to be surpassed. He was also the first korean act to ever headline a major US music festival, after which its become increasingly common- as we like to say 'bts paved the way'

He is really an all rounder, I'm glad that he also went rock, it fits on his voice, what a multi-talented and a very kind guy. thank you for reacting to Hobipalooza, I enjoyed this video a lot. Waiting for J-hope's return from the military and he will be releasing a dance album "hope on the street" this 2024. Please react to that when it comes. again thanks for appreciating jhope's talent.

Here’s some stuff that happened When they announced that j-hope was headliner of this event ticket was selling super fast. J-hope had merchandise it sold out that same day J-hope thought that no one wasn’t going to show up to see him knowing this is was very 1st show as a solo artist of bts, he was so nervous / losing alot of weight+ pressure But his buddy jimin came to support him he flew from South Korea just to be by his side this day. J-hope got very good reviews after this event people were impressed, one person who worked for this event for years said they never seen anything like this & they love it Army waited hours in the hot sun just to see jhope knowing the main act is last Instead of calling it lollapalooza we called it hobiapalooza The lights u see in the crowed they are called army bombs it’s a light stick.

Thanks so much for reacting to this. I love this Lolla performance so much. Echoing what a few others have said, I don't expect reactors to listen in silence. That's not what I watch for. Nor do I expect reactors to pause every time they speak, particularly in a longer video. However, I personally prefer the "reaction" to, on the whole, be about the content being watched, rather than a cookie, or a mole, etc. On this basis, as much as I love you guys, this video frustrated me. If you decided to post a separate video of you both just chilling and talking about random stuff, I'd definitely watch it because you are loads of fun. Just not over Hobi.

@@Golden__Betty No. A reaction video is meant to be a reaction to the content where people pay attention to the content and when they speak it's to talk about what's happening in the content. Not ignoring parts of the content to check your phone, make random jokes that aren't really related to much of anything and chatting about your moles and scars while not even looking at the screen. It's okay for fans to have some standards and point out when something aint it.

These songs you hear are from Jack in the Box (12 songs) full album and his mixtape Hope World (7 songs), then he does some songs from BTS on the second part of the concert. All of BTS are great performers, but Hobi is the more prolific entertainer of BTS in my opinion. Because he touches many genres and is the most emotive, he draws you in. He is my bias, and he is so over the top in talent! I’ve been waiting for him to do his own concert for years, finally it’s here. Enjoy. It was so worth the wait for me.

He has the BEST stage presence. He is the one who showed actual growth. He conceptualise and written his own songs. That’s a true artist. Please watch j-hope IN THE BOX documentary you will see his process. Please listen to MORE which is the one he opened. He did not stop the whole set during HOBIPALOOZA. Jack In The Box is his first Album and Hope World is his mixtape. You will see his depth as an artist. He prioritised artistry instead of charting which is what the vocal line wanted since they lack the skill to create their own. The rapline are a trio of pillars. Notice his set was continuous and he hardly took a break.

1:08:53 about the dancers, these ones are from The Lab, an LA dance crew, they are the ones in the Chicken Noodle Soup MV and the ON Kinect Manifesto too, AND they are the dancers for most shows of BTS in America since the Love Yourself tour. Sienna is the head leader and main choreographer of The Lab, she's the blond in white and pink here, she choreographed a few of BTS dances and other artists. Apart from that, you were right to say "this is not JHope crew", or even BTS crew if you will, the standar is that they tour with Korean dancers from their company (HYBE)

Some info, the blonde girl, the front back up dancer is Sienna Lalau from lab studios. She is probably the best choreographer currently out there and she is also the same girl in the beginning of the “on kinetic manifesto”. And she choreographed a lot of BTSs and black pinks recent stuff. She is also only 23 and very know in the dancing community. I knew her from when she was only 16 and already featured in a lot of KZread videos of other famous choreographers. So yeah. It’s extremely hard to become a backup dancer for bts 😂

FULLY Subtitled J-Hope Lollapalooza in 2 parts. Commentary AND music lyrics. J-Hope Lollapalooza Pt. 1 (turn on CC's) - kzread.info/dash/bejne/dHicqqmCibybeLw.htmlsi=0D42C5j5rcqBDtRe J-Hope Lollapalooza Pt. 2 (turn on CC's) - kzread.info/dash/bejne/npmmlaWbfZzHn6w.htmlsi=mkbFpiaMwy9quyc5 I'm sorry to have to point this out, because I know you get this a lot, but you guys talked way too much over some of the performance. *EXAMPLE: You were talking about whether or not Lollapalooza was being held in Chicago, and J-Hope actually said "What's up Chicago!" and you didn't hear it because you were talking over his performance. If you need to pause, that's preferable, because it's frustrating to watch you do that and miss information or the performance. I have ADHD, so I get it, but you do this as a professional, so please pause when needed. Don't just dismiss it as people not being nice, and your "Patreon" members understand you better. Sorry, but not all of us can afford to pay every reactor that we like for Patreon. I gave up on that a long time ago. It got to be too much. And I've been here since your beginnings with BTS🤨 So please just pause if needed. Sienna Lalau (dancer w/long blond hair) is the choreographer for Dionysus, ON: Kinetic Manifesto, JIMIN's Set Me Free Pt. 2, and lots of J-Hope's projects that she's worked with him on. As well as The dance crew The LAB - based out of Los Angeles. Those are his dancers at Lollapalooza, and the same dance crew works with them when they are having concerts in the USA. PTD Los Angeles and Las Vegas were their concert series that they worked with BTS. They also work with Black Pink and XG. And probably others, but those are the ones I know of. Any backup dancers have to be highly skilled and experienced. So they work with BTS and the members when they come to America, but not going on tour out of the country. They also have in house dancers they work with. But J-Hope only did this one Lollapalooza concert. He hasn't done a solo world tour yet.

I can understand the criticism about the phones but for people that have bad vision it helps cause you can zoom in on the stage. But it's bad for short people when all you see are hands or signs blocking your view. That's why at the concerts now they have a time for ARMYs to share their messages THAT SHOULD BE THE ONLY TIME you can have them up but meh those are just my thoughts.

Sign language is country specific, same as oral languages. It’s a shame as it would be so much easier for deaf and mute peeps around the world. ✌️💜
